My wife's great-great grandfather who came up from California was the first white trader in Telegraph Creek. The building across the creek from Saint Aidan's Anglican Church was the store he built, called the Diamond C . When he came to Telegraph Creek, there was no Hudson Bay store, there. They were in Glenora, at that time. He owned several paddle-wheelers and was partners in a steamship that travelled between Seattle and Wrangell. Sure enjoyed your video!
What an intense road - one that would be good to have another vehicle following - some steep grades 😳 Love all of the info & history you provided and of course love his new lens! Cool shots of the mountain goat and loved seeing a little greenery in the bears’ mouths.
Thanks for another wonderful video. I appreciate them so so much, would watch them even if they were longer. At this time during the stupid pandemic it really gives us something else to focus on. We'll head back to Alaska in 2021 for our third trip from Texas. Thanks again, stay strong!! keep vlogging
Best EVER bear shots! Unbelievably gorgeous creatures. You did, along with your new camera, wonderful photos. Thank you for another enjoyable day trip in Alaska.
Thanks for the ride-along great to see my old stomping grounds, and the impact of the fires last year. You haven't live till you have met the weekly semi-trailer heading into Telegraph while you are heading down the hill into Tahltan.
Not for the faint of heart?! Thank you for sharing your adventure, because I could never do this road myself 😳😨😱😵! From the bottom of my faint heart, thank you MUCHO!
Thanks for the video and more importantly your history lessons. I really appreciate you taking the time to talk about the history of the places you visit!
New sub here and I love how you narrated throughout this video. So much important information. Thanks so much for taking us along on your travels. Be safe out there. Cheers!!!
I use the same lens, if you use the Nikon sensor in crop mode (DX), it will multiply your focal length by 1.5 for an awesome total reach of 750 mm instead of 500 mm. The bokeh is amazing, great choice. Thank you for sharing your adventures !
Enjoying your trip so far. What brand/model kayak do you have? How do you like it? We are thinking of getting an inflatable but not sure which one to get.
