Les petits de Boka

- The petits of Boka are a group of young musicians who rapresent the percussions school of Ibrahima "Boka" Camara in Conakry.
They are also known as "Boka Juniores" or "Percussions de Guinèe Junior.
That video has recorded at the house of "Les Etoiles de Faretà" on February 2004.
Now some of them continue to plays with "Boka Percussion" the current group of Boka Camara in Guinea.

Unsure what you mean about "ABC".
You mean, "learn this first and I'll give you more later?"
naa...I meant ; by teaching them older arrangements it kind of gets entrenched deeper in the subconsciousness of many. I'm not saying this is what Boka had in mind...but I don't mind it.
But doing this has it's benefits ...is what my point was.
These kids are certainly amazing, and they play well as a group. The sequence here however, is taken directly from Les Percussions du Guinee (Tiriba>Route du Niger>Kawa). Boka should come up with something more original for these kids to play (if he's responsible for the repetoire). Nothing against the kids, of course -- they're friggin' incredible.
Perhaps its an ABC thing.....
