This car is actually more quiet than a Nascar engine, same sound but louder. You need ear-pro in the stands for a Nascar race (no European noise regulations for those races)
This car is actually more quiet than the NASCAR versions. They have to tone down the sound for European track regulations. We done have that in the US.
Nascar Cup version is Way louder. I think by about 30 db, if not more. They had this car, the road course setup Cup, and the track setup Cup car at an event I attended. The track setup Cup car was so much louder people were running away when they cranked it full out.
My T-levels rose just by listening to this video. Hell yeah.

What a crazy machine. This car on track for my first 24h of Le Mans was an unforgettable experience. (hell yeah)

Probably a modified R07. 4.5" bore spacing vs. 4.4" for SBC and 4.8" for BBC. Lots of good articles on the R07, it's a super cool engine.

The “regular” Nascars are louder.
It's louder than this one, even far up the grand stand you need ear plug or else it's awful.
