  • The Herefordshire Black and White Village trail, part two. The demolished and rebuilt church of St John's, Shobden provides an ideal location for the CYW team to continue their discussion about the ethics of demolition, faking architectural styles and repurposing old buildings. The conversation naturally leads to an examination of a subject close to the hearts of people from the Black Country and Staffordshire: The Crooked House.
We had planned to film at the Crooked House earlier this year, after hearing it might close its doors. Little did we know what was coming next.
