I'm so proud of Alexis. Jim did NOT treat her with respect. He was controlling and didn't allow her to be her. I can't get over season 7. He was so insensitive and wanted her to stay home. And he wasn't supportive.
Alexis was CONTROLLED by Jim. He was always complaining. He wanted a Trophy wife who was submissive & Alexis tried it and didn't like it. She has a mind of her own. I am Glad she got out & found a TRUE love & happiness in her life.
I watched the show last night and I have to say nothing has changed as for as my opinion for Alexis I can't stand her I saw her on below deck she had her legs around some guy and it brought back memories on the OC and ashe was supposed to be some christian ? Yeah right ...
I hear you but Jim did not want her working. On the show he told her that her place was at home keeping house, cooking, being subservient to him and being a mom last when he was home. When she did go behind his back to do that lil spot on the morning show he made her quit when he found out that she did it anyway. She just told him that she just wanted to try it out once just to “see if she could do both….taking care of the home, being a wife, mom and the anchor spot. What she portrayed on the show and to the cameras is that she just really didn’t have time that is why she stopped after a week or so. All of the main circumstances did show until after the divorce was filed.

She just seems better without that letch in her life . She seems so much better and at peace with her life
I think he held her back and she was still maturing. He was too old for her. It's sad, but true.
I would LOVE to see her back on the show in place of Gina.
