In the 1960's and 1970's before mechanical engineers used finite element analysis software to do stress analysis, they used to build models out of clear plastic, stress the models, and look at the models with polarized light to see the stresses in the structures. When you stress clear plastic in polarized light it will create a lot of interesting colors. You could find more information on this effect if you Goggle, stressed plastic polarized light.
finally got the 3d image to work. had to hold a pencil in front of my face and focus on that. once the middle pic shows up you should be able to lock in the 3d image until you blink again. It was awesome
Thanks for sharing ... Tried to buy Dons's book through Amazon, but got message that it can not be delivered to Jakarta (Indonesia) ... Any help on how I could buy that book? ... Thanks
This fell onto autoplay from another macro instructional. Jeeze man this was a lot and I mean a lot of rambling and wandering mindless filler with scatter gun delivery and the odd photo thrown in. Did that guy even breath in? Love macro but phew 😅.
Fantastic with the cross eye 3D!
I don't know why this amazing video is so underrated.
Waheed, I think most people wouldn’t take time to learn and understand Don’s amazing mind!
@@elisabethlafontaine8979 That's the sad truth.

Definitely a yacht race in front of the mountains!

I always enjoy Dons presentations. I am just starting to try macro and keeping it simple and will slowly work my way up the frustration level.
