Pamela is a beautiful actress. Its wonderful that she has a lot of fans that protect her. People do need to see the difference between a character and the actor. Thankfully the interviews I have seen she has said she hasn’t had trouble with Wentworth fans.
Pamela Rabe’s work in Wentworth is incredibly deep and intricate. The small nuances that she talks about while playing with mental health of the character of Catherine and Joan couldn’t have been done any better. The interaction between Joan and Vera is incredibly interesting between the characters and the last interaction between the two was extremely important to establish that Joan has her own set of values and ethics that is deeply buried within her. It suggests that she might go all Dexter if anyone tries to harm Vera or her baby. A very curious thing on the part of the emerging character that seems to just keep evolving. Well done!

When they "killed" Joan, I almost stopped watching the show. Was so glad they brought her back, but now it's all over! I will miss the Joan character so much. She was so much fun to watch, and Pamela Rabe was extraordinary in the role. The final episode was the best season finale I've ever seen. Ferguson's character ARC was fantastic. And the scene with her coming out of the freezer?? Brilliant. Reminded me of The Ring movie scenes with the girl with the hair covering her face and head down... just a fabulous show/scene/character.

Out of interest, is it known what the viewing stats were like around Wentworth Prison, on a week-to-week basis in OZ? I ask because, despite its popularity here in the UK, I was surprised to see it only averaged around the 300-450,000 mark week on week on 5Star. Compared to some of the UKs biggest dramas this is still disappointingly low. I'll never understand why the main channels (namely BBC/ITV) never showed WP any interest. Especially after the success of PCBH in the 70s-80s. I just hope folks, who've not yet embraced it will not dismiss it or let it go forgotten! Sure going to miss this one!
It's kinda weird how she is speaking but if u watch her with her hands and facial expressions u can so see Ferguson. Expecially the part where she clicks her tougue then speaks...
