I'm very impressed with this family. They don't shoot until threatened. With them there'll be no Sasquatch getting shot in the back. Thanks for a great lesson for all of us.

When you are closer to the ground, it maybe easier to see where you are stepping instead of being tall & unable to see & feel what needs to be done in that type of situation. I saw on RUclips recently that there are a couple of kinds of Bigfoot... Those with the eyes that reflect light & are just pretty much curious about what humans do on a regular basis & just want to be left alone, & the other type with eyes 👀 that reflect red 🔴 & meanness. Those are the type that I would say would be the ones of which to be very afraid.

I am still amazed about Big Foot in Ohio. Guess things have really changed. I lived there from 1942 -1961 and spent a great deal of time out in the woods rifle in hand. In those years I saw but three deer and except for them the biggest animal i ever saw was red fox.

Great story Nance! Awesomely told, with the heroine being the young lady who knew her way around the woods. Truly they most likely were being stalked by a pack of Bigfoot's or at least 2 of them together. Bigfoot hunts in pairs or multiples it is safer & easier to protect themselves. I too have come to this site as a result of Cam's recommendation, and I do not regret it at all.

That was a good one and very close to home. I am a lady hunter/fisher as well. I know A lot of men won't like this, but women, when we choose to hunt, are much better at it than men. I know I'm not sitting in any blind all day either waiting for something to hopefully show up. I'm going after IT. I have a natural sense of things in nature and in the woods. I have ears like radar dishes and a great sense of direction; I could never get lost. Most of it is just common sense. There are Bigfoot out there hunters and fishermen. Please be careful in the Buckeye state and any other woods you may find yourself in. or near. They will hunt you, and even relish the challenge of it. They are smarter than you think.

Sometimes my overly sensitive olfactory nerve is not such a blessing, like smelling everyone out in the public and all that goes along with it. I'm glad somebody else understands this.

Hi Nance, great Wolves scene! Okay, what is this Lady's address, want to go fishing with her ;) Great story, That was a strange one, haven't heard one quite like that encounter before, this Brother and Sister showed some great restraint in not shooting the Squatch, and it might have saved them some real hurt or worse if they opened up on it, not sure it would have attacked them and was curious and/or wanted some free fish from the two if they caught something, but regardless of what was on the Big Guys mind it ended well for the Siblings. Great narration as always, Monday evening can't get here soon enough, take care, D.J.

That was a great story. Little Sis is really in tune with her surroundings, plus stealthy to boot, and packs a 44. Wow! I'm betting on little Sis and her 44 with a head shot.
However, the big guy was likely more interested in stealing their fish if they had caught any. I live in Washington State not far from a top Steelhead river. There have been a fair number of stories of Bigfoot harrassing fishermen by throwing rocks, growling, roaring, breaking branches and limbs. They rarely show themselves but the fishermen get so freaked out they take off sometimes leaving the fish.

I know I’m an optimist. I can’t help thinking with almost every story I hear, a kind word and simple gift like food or something pretty but not threatening like a tennis ball or carving, would reassure the creatures that the human intends no threat. Just like it you may possibly be a threat but you’re not wanting to be. I’ll have to wait for my first contact to test my theory. Will try to keep some foot without a lot of chemicals nearby to share with it.

I have to agree that once the BK lost the element of surprise, it stood up. But I also believe that BK know what a firearm is, and that they have no defense against it. It was looking for an easy meal, and most fisherman are unarmed (gun-wise). But once it saw both fisherman were armed, it decided to leave.

Saquatch vs human behavior :This story is the perfect example. This is my theory based on the stories and my experiences only. I sell bicycles for a local bike shop now but have learned about human behavior for most of my 51 years, so here we go.
Sasquatch and humans are both predators, omnivors, social, and have individual personalities. Sasquatch are true hunters so their stealth, speed, strength, and knowledge of the forest is for beyond most of us. Advantage sasquatch.
I can see why these interactions are so varied. The time of year determines if its mating season or not. Are the young being protected by the mother or is it a male being territorial? Humans can instinctually understand wether they are wanted there or to leave immediately. Its our primal instincts that kick in, the fight or flight response. Usually these stories indicate humans feel like prey. Advantage sasquatch.
There is also a fear or amazement of the "unknown" or "familiar". Both Sasquatch and human indicate this equally.
Regarding behavior: we all know how many different personalities humans have and how good or mean we can be to each other. Imprint that on a sasquatch but also remember we dont know their language/ behaviors. Well you can hear with these stories how unpredictable the Sasquatch can be. It's not "Koko" the gorilla out there, but the something more related to humans.
These are thoughts of mine and just for the record i dont have any desire to see a sasquatch. I mountain bike so being outdoors with nature and helping people do so safety, is my passion. I also want people to destress and enjoy what God has given us. Sasquatch included. I listen and learn because im curious just like the " the big guy".
I hope you all stay safe. As for myself, im going to get a refill on my iced coffee and snackage and listen to Nance read some more emails.
    Night everyone.

They are stealthy. That is why most people have not seen one, or even believe in them. We cause drama/problems for them usually. They are smart, they hide, more and more in plain sight.

Wow. If he would have gone with a lesser skilled person, they both would have been on the menu. Bet the squatch recognized he wasn't going to get one over on her and gave up the game. Glad they got out ok.

Yup, actually hunting. Sitting in a stand isn't so much hunting as much as waiting....
