request that you guys play Chivalry 2 please :D its mostly a team objective based game set in medieval times. knights vs knights kinda thing, but can get very chaotic when both teams are full of players. jump into a melee and start swinging your longsword at everyone you see. anyway, love your vids guys, thanks! (As far as the reaction channel, would you guys ever do anime? because i'd wanna see you guys react to the original Yuyu Hakusho. one of the best dubbed animes of all time)
PLEASE use only Levioso on the boxes!!!! They will float mid air so you can use them to jump on them and then climb further up!!! You don’t need the boxes to stand upright. It’s a bit painful to watch to be honest 😅
True, the game does have you doing some pretty sketchy things for a 15 year old school student. Breaking into people's homes, shoplifting from shops, stealing from classmates dorm rooms, reading other people's mail, and so on. "You're a burglar, Harry!" -Hagrid, probably. I think all the devs are a Slytherins and made the game this way to make all the houses look as bad as theirs.😉
Ok i am seriously. He needs to live stream this. He'll save so much time. He keeps getting worked up where he shouldn't. And fans will most definitely be happy to help without spoiling.
The challenge is way games are fun , I was blown away how much he'd improved from the first episode 😂 but if he thinks it's a good idea im keen for a live stream 😊
The idea is awsome but maybe they think the chat would get annoying telling them what to do all the time. If we promise to behave well, it would be a good experience, they also need a good moderator in the chat to help them in the stream
For future reference: you can use Leviosa on the block and it will stay floating. You can then jump on it and on to the top. The big spider CAN be beaten. Once you've increased your Ancient Magic capacity, you can hit it with Ancient Magic a few times and it's done.
To clarify the above you have leviosa and winguardium leviosa. The former levitates objects and enemies for 10 seconds after you cast it immobolizing them or letting you jump on them (for things like that crate) the later moves them but stops working as soon as you end the spell.
If I'm not mistaken, he's already done this, it's just that he forgets (a lot), I already said that he needs to play with a notepad at his side to remember these things 😅
I think Oak would have a lot more fun, and get less frustrated, if he kept in mind that the game was designed to keep him moving forward - not to piss him off by being too hard. Often he gets frustrated when he overcomplicates things. Like the drawbridge - he knows Revelio; if he'd used it earlier instead of trying to wedge a box under the gate, he'd have seen the pull. But instead of trying the simple solution, he assumed it was some crazy difficult trick. Like the game was deliberately trying to make it hard. Or at 01:02:51 - the cut scene literally ended by pointing his character in the exact direction he needed to go and saying, "There's got to be a way to get on the roof." Oak immediately took off running in every other conceivable direction - I think because he assumed the game was trying to make him solve a puzzle when it was actually guiding him exactly where he needed to go. Turning the block sideways to get up the wall is the same thing. That's very hard to do, so it's probably not the solution designed by the game. If Oak took a breath and thought about the goal - he needed the block to be higher up so he could use it to get over the wall - he could then consider if he knew any spells that lifted things up. Wingardium Leviosa wasn't really working, so how about the other lifting spell: Levioso? I just hate to see Oak get so frustrated. I want this to be fun for him. Yes, the game is full of puzzles and problem solving, but it usually isn't infuriatingly complicated. Simple solutions work best.
Don't forget to hit the Floo Flames - you went all the way to the NorthEast for the meeting with Natty, and there was a Floo Flame that will save you a trip, next time. When you make these long trips, please find a Floo Flame, to help you minimize the travel next time.
I do it with a lot of playthroughs "Stop focusing on what's in front of you and look around!" Not just Oak. I've done it with a streamer trying to interact with the first demi-guise statue while ignoring the quest giver next to it, one trying to solve the arithmancy ? equation and constantly walking back and forth between it and the door while ignoring the second equation ??. Though in that ones defence they seemed to think you needed to solve one then the other. But yes in this game particularly there's a strong desire to reach into the screen and tell them "Look around". I was taught to do that in Jade Empire where one quest had various of reward based on if you just solved it or if you actually looked around and found the clues for the better reward.
Oak, I think you should just take a deep breath, have some water and USE YOUR POTIONS during battles! Edurus helps you endure fatal attacks, Maxima helps increase your spell damage. Invisibility is self explanatory. Thunderbrew also attacks your enemies. USE YOUR PLANTS as well - Mandrakes, Venomous tentacula, and chomping cabbages will help you fight big enemies a lot. Also, even if you used your wiggenweld potions, stock up before going into any quest. Always grow all your potion ingredients.
A helpful tip: Before going out of the castle, brew A LOT of Wiggenweld potion in the Room of Requirement. You can carry as many as 25 Wiggenwelds. Next time, you will have more health to defeat even a massive spider like the Acromantula 😁
I still remain amused by the developer response to finding out players where using leviosa then depulso to fire the cats over the horizon. Would certainly have made the game play differently if they responded with a protego and avada kadavra if players used spells on them.
For the block: you can use the directional pad to rotate objects you use wingardium leviosa on, but what you are meant to do where you were struggling was to cast the basic spell Leviosa on the block after you’d moved it into position. It would then float and you then climb up on it.
Hi Oak! All the frustration was worth it to watch you fly Highwing! This game can be frustrating at times, but its also so rewarding for us Potter fans! Hang in there!
Tip for beasts!! Grab the 4th spell slot when you get a chance, I think it’s super easy to have at least one of your spell sets strictly for beast catching/care… you aren’t going to want to keep switching your spells around when you come upon a den because it will take to long and they will already have scattered
@@surferchic15cw Yes, but the rest will scatter as he's catching the first, he can disillusion and wait for them to come back instead of chasing after them.
@MrClobbertime that's not the point. Why wouldn't you make it easier having a beast catching spell set? And why tf wait around when you can do it in 1 go😂 you just like making things harder for yourself
Hey Oak, you can definitely defeat the spider in the cave! It’s a hard (and also kinda scary) bossfight, but with a lot of potions you should be able to make it work. Thunderbrew is in my opinion one of the best potions, it will damage multiple enemies around you at once so it would be perfect to use it in that bossfight, any bossfight for that matter. Focus potion is also really good, makes the cooldown time for your spells faster so you can do more damage in a shorter amount of time! And last but not least, always make sure you’ve got a full stock of wiggenweld potions on hand, I believe the max amount you can carry is 25. Just make sure you visit the room of requirement as often as you can and every time you’re there brew some extra potions or wait for another harvest of plants, they can always come in handy wherever you go exploring outside of the castle! Also on another small note: Tobbs will still be dead even if you’ve defeated the spider so it makes no difference sadly
1:57:24 This was genuinely so sweet. What a wonderful gift to offer, and as always you’re never short of kind and wonderfully meaningful words Oak. It’s true that I, similarly to many others found you guys through the Potter reactions and I’m really glad that you were made to feel so welcomed into the community. Please though remember that so many of us also felt incredibly welcomed into the Badd Medicine community which was a product of the kind, respectful, fun and safe atmosphere the four of you guys created. There’s a reason as to why, at least I personally feel, there’s still such a strong Potter community overlap with your channels. Along with the obvious joyful entertainment you provide, I believe it’s because of the values you all represent and your active willingness and enthusiasm to listen. As you mention, your journey through the Potter movies is great to watch, both highly entertaining and inspiring to others. It embodies the message that with maturity and removal of judgement there is so much joy to be found in the places we least expect. Yet what I loved most about it was the enthusiastic appreciation from you all for the kindness and patience shown in the comments at a time when you may not have been expecting it, and respectful acknowledgement of those confiding in you how much the series means to them. You showed yourselves to be generous men with kind hearts and in a place on the internet where volatility in comments seem loudest, that goes a much longer way than you may think to ensure those that are well-meaning don’t keep quiet out of an assumption that they won’t be heard. You’re brilliant at finding the morals and lessons in all that you encounter, but please always remember that you’ve also taught many to thousands yourself. Anyway, rambling over but I’ll always find joy in continuing to watch the channels grow, I really do wish all four of you the greatest success. The gaming channel’s getting ever stronger but the reaction channel is honestly seriously impressive. I’m not going to pretend I know much considering it’s because of your personalities that I’m still here so I’ve never subscribed to another reaction channel. But even without the hilarity and insights in the reactions, the consistency, individuality and organisation across the board is incredible. I hope Diamond Dave doesn’t burn himself out from working too hard (as well as the rest of you) because as much as I can’t wait to watch the channel grow further I’m sure I speak for many when I say I just hope you’re all enjoying the journey as much as when you started - it’s been a pleasure so far to witness, so thank you :) (Edit: Oh dear I’m good at rambling on, that was much longer than I’d anticipated - whoops, sorry!)
2:49:43 "This feels new" Me: *SCREAMING INTERNALLY* Babe PLEASE. You went that way 367 times and didnt jump across. I was gonna write in my diary about it and cry myself to sleep
Hello Oak! Im so happy to see another hogwarts legacy video! It makes me so happy to see you play it and discover things! My tips for you!: Catching beasts with stupefy. They will run away when you try to catch them, so often times you can completely lose your beasts, because they run. What I did is use stupefy! It will pause/Stun the animal giving you more time to catch them! So… sneaking up on them with invisible, stupefy, and then catch and you’ll have an easier time! The ledges/boxes. You don’t have to turn them to the side, was impressed you got up there🤣. You can use levioso on the boxes, making them levitate and work as a second ledge as your character can then climb it! It’ll give you a much easier time! Sometimes you will find the spots where the vine will damage you- using lumos will make them cower and slither away, as long as you’re casting lumos, as they don’t like light I hope this could help! Absolutely adore your videos
Oak at 1:23:45 (Perfect time stamp btw wow!) "IDK if anyone can see how big the smile on my face is" Also Oak the entire time he was flying before he said that: 😐 .... I love him so much lmfaoooo
So about Revelio: you should use it a lot, but when you do, make sure to move the camera around (Right stick) to see what’s being revealed/highlighted (pages will glimmer when nearby/other items that can be collected will glow blue or gold). That will make your adventuring much more efficient! 😊
You're going to give a heart attack, you know! Keep the troll as your unwilling companion and avada kedvra the rest! Gonna become like Panettiere character in Remember the Titans! LOL
When you hit someone with Imperio (green "x" on their chest), they are temporarily your ally. Whoever you aim at, they will also strike, and so forth. So... if they have a green "x", don't prioritize killing them until the other baddies are gone.
My suggestion. Grow the chomping cabbages and fill your inventory until max, they are truly very helpful when you are surrounded. Believe me. They're super deadly & super helpful. No worries about money when growing chomping cabbages, they stay rooted when we harvest them and regrow. Get dung composter spellcraft at Tomes and scrolls, so you can make fertilizer for your chomping cabbages. The fertilizer can double the produce. About the giant spider in Deek's sidequest related to Tobb, I defeated it. Well, I defeat them all. I got help from my chomping cabbage army 😂 I hated Tobb's master, I really wanna throw him into Azkaban so dementors can have him 😒
You finally got to my favourite quest, Oak! I absolutely love when we get to ride Highwing for the first time. The graphics, music and nostalgia make this so amazing! And your reaction didn't disappoint 💪💚
Oak, you gotta go into the quests prepared… stock up on wiggenweld potion especially, but also any other potions you use. Maxima and focus potions are very useful. Now that you have your loom, apply traits to your gear according to your combat style. Gear traits and upgrades have to be repeated whenever you change clothes. For battling huge spider infestations ( as well as other crowds), the Chinese chomping cabbages are invaluable. If you’re not growing them yet, start, and fill up before heading out to a combat quest. They can keep you from getting overwhelmed. To make the most of the cabbages, get the talent (2 cabbages for the price of 1), and find the “fangs” or “herbology” traits and apply them to 2 or 3 pieces of gear. Also, get the dung composter from tomes and scrolls so you can fertilize the cabbages (double the yield for each planting cycle). Notice that the acromantula periodically spawns several smaller spiders, so throw some cabbages out when it comes on the scene, and then focus on fighting the big guy.
My favourite quest!! Highwing!! Ehehehe😁 glad to see you finally can fly with Highwing and got Sepulchria and also the onyx hipogriff!! Oak is progressing!!
42:06 Handy Hint: those tentacle vine things that hurt you when you walk through them are Devil's Snare. To bypass them, use lumos because they hate light Handy Hint: use accio/wingardium leviosa to move the box, and levioso to levitate it so you can then climb onto it to reach high places
"Glitch out" - I got stuck in a spot I never should have been able to physically get in, and my save point was pretty far back. It took me 20 minutes of trying everything before I got out of the place I was wedged into.
I Love Oak so much. But my God does he have the worst sense of direction. I had such a hard time keeping myself from bursting out laughing my head off super loudly during the Tobbs quest. Seeing him over and over and over again going back to the same location when all he had to do is to continue to go forward. I just can't.🧭 LMAOROTF! 🤣🤣🤣 Oh! Then after getting killed multiple times he just runs past the big boss spider. Cool! Whatever works is good in my books. LMAO! 😂👍 I Love Oak! ❣️
The potion vendors in each hamlet if you talk to them give you hints to quests and notorious enemies nearby then when you solve the problem give you new dialogue relating to the solution. Most of them will have three bits of dialogue you can get.
Great job in the Dark Arts Battle Arena. Well Done! Bravo! 👏🎉 Next time, Imperio the troll. Always make the biggest bad beast do all the heavy lifting work for you. 😉👍 🪄💀
🦄My suggestion after defeating any poachers. Revelio the area they were in. Sometimes they have magical beasts locked up in cages that needs to be set freed. Plus there might be chests and bags to take as well. So always Revelio any poacher or Ashwinder camp you defeat. 🪄✨️🦤
Oak please(!) look at the mini map when you're in an underground cavern of any sorts. It will light up in areas you've been and be dark for places you still need to explore. It can be an incredible help with working out where you need to go next!
3:01:30 Yes Oak. Others defeated the big bad. Difficult though. You picked your battles. As Oak said to Deek, “...avoid the spiders in the end” 3:02:06
for the blocks you can levioso them after you have moved them to where you want, to levitate them in place so that you can climb them while they are in mid air. you don't need to turn them on their side. you should use revelio after a battle to see where all the loot dropped instead or running around to blindly find some of it while leaving a lot behind when you leave the area a general tip is use the camera to look around more, while also using revelio without moving as things like the door latch in the castle can be higher up in your field of view or just behind you and you don't see it right away.
Ok, I may have laughed quite a bit at you basic casting that poor puffskein and then rescuing it and you character saying 'there there I'm not going to hurt you'! Talk to the animal shopkeeper in Hogsmeade, she's lovely and cares for the animals. There's also no benefit to getting rarer or shiny creatures as there's a flat price, meaning we're not overly benefitting from selling them. You need to be using levioso or glacius on animals before catching them as you need them to stay still for a bit. Don't forget to unlock the floor flames when you're near them. You encountered Devil's Snare earlier before you entered the keep with Natty. In Sorcerer's Stone, Hermione explains that it hates light, so use lumos on it or it will hurt you. Fire spells only work really temporarily. If you find an area you have to crouch through, you can use Swift (your dash function) to speed through the other side. Just a bit faster. If you see a flat, pitted grey rock face, it usually means you can climb up it. Clothing with good high attributes in one but some low ones in the other can be 'fixed' by upgrading at your loom. Catch more creatures of different types so you can tend to them and get their fur etc to upgrade and add traits to your clothing. Adding traits can make a big difference. No, missing the spiders wouldn't change the outcome for Tobbs. I've always fought them and the outcome is the same. Now you've unlocked Highwing, you've also unlocked a Thestral as a mount. You can switch in your gear menu on the far right.
1:57:48-2:00:15 In other words; we love you too, man. 2:54:13 when in that kind of situation, I prefer to use the "hide and heal strategy" where you fight as much as you can, but when you get too low in health, you hide some place safe until you heal up enough to keep fighting.
I totally agree with you oak I love our community, no community is perfect and the potter community has it hitches, but overall we all just bond over these amazing stories and adventures and I love how we've grown to make our own stories and adventures it makes me so happy, as Emma said Harry potter makes life richer. Can't wait to interact with y'all in future livestreams.❤
Another fun video! Loved seeing you enjoy flying on Highwing. Look out for missions with Poppy - you'll love them if you're an animal lover! A couple of feedback notes: - Remember that you can (and should) try to get as many Wigglenweld potions as you can before you go on a mission - especially if it's a main quest as they tend to have fights involved. You can carry as much as 25 of those but 10-15 should be enough too based on the way you play. - As others have said, remember to use the other damage potions as well - that's what they're there for :) Use Maxima for increased damage to enemies, Edurus potion ensures you have a rocky skin and will make sure you're protected for a limited amount of time; and Thunderbrew creates thunder (as the name suggests haha) and it strikes your enemies, meaning you're getting some extra help which is useful during harder boss fights like with that Acromantula/ spider. - Btw I liked that some of the extra fights that didn't lead to much were cut off and we got to see the main result, i.e. the most important moments. That's what I think is a good idea to present the videos, e.g. feel free to stop and get some fighting practice on the way to main missions, but I think showing us the main mission is what most of us would be more interested in seeing. - Saying that, I think it's a good idea to do 2 main missions and maybe 1 side quest per video (or two)- depending on how much time you have! - When you're visiting Hogsmede and other Hamlets and their houses, keep an eye out for Demiguises (those statues Mr Moon showed you, feel free to google it to remind yourself of what they look like if you've forgotten). You need these if you want him to teach you Alohomora level 2 and 3. And remember, they can only be collected at night so if you ever spot one during the day, remember that you can advance time by going to the map and pressing R3. - When you go on missions to see and rescue beasts remember you do not need to get all of them - you can if you want, but you'll soon have no space left for all the other interesting beats you haven't met yet. - And finally I think it'd be a great idea to do livestreams for Hogwars Legacy- we can be on the chat with you and drop some of this advice while you're playing so that you don't have to sit there in frustration :) Good luck and enjoy :)
➡️ Bags trapped in locations you can't get to; 1: Sometimes you just have to either move the object that is blocking the bag or blast the object that is blocking the bag out of the way. Confringo or Bombarda will do. 🪄💥 2: Most of the time it's a super annoying glitch in the game that will drive you up the wall trying to get to the bag for far too long. Boy do I hate those glitches. Drives me nuts. LOL! 🎮🤨😤🙄🤦♀️😆
So the Lacewing flies are used in potion making and moonstone can be used to be able to build in the room of requirement, so moonstone is only important if you need lots for potting, brewing stations, magical creature habitats in the room of requirement however lace wing flies, horklump juice, and leaping toadstools (basically anything found in nature) are mostly helpful to collect when you’re low on ingredients and don’t have enough gallions to purchase ingredients. My advice only collect those things when you need them cause so far I’m sure you have plenty of them.
Thank you for another great gameplay video. I love how you use your comments and tips and implement them. Loved seeing that you finished up some side and main quests anr loved the editing 😂 Like everyone else said already use Levioso on the boxes and be sure that when you are stuck to look around from a distance and look up from time to time (referring to the gate) I'm glad your back :D missed HL with you when there was a one week gap 😊
I'm glad to see you back. I actually enjoy the single player games videos to the group plays, but that's just me. You can get moonstones by de-decorating your room, paintings and chairs to build more brewing and growing stations. 10 seconds to brew a health potion, a few tables and in a couple of minutes you can stock up. I hope you will be back with this game soon.
Don't feel bad about Tobbs! The outcome is the same whether you defeat the spider or not. I cried when I found him. Also, in regards to the moonstone, I think it's mostly used for the room of requirement. For furniture and stuff. So if you get sick of collecting it and don't care so much about decorating the room you don't have to worry about it too much. Also, be keeping an eye out for Demiguise statues in random people's houses! If you see one, go to your map and accelerate time to nighttime so you can grab him so you can get the Alohomora II and III. (It's sooo hard to find them. I used a cheat and watched someone on RUclips lead you to them all because I got sick of trying to find them myself.) As always, so fun to watch you play! It's fun to watch your Hufflepuff attributes shine through.
You forgot the butterflys😢😢 About the niffler running away you have to use glacius, levioso, or arresto momento to stop them to run away 😊 When you are done battle the enemy always revelio and look 360 slow. You missed some chest and money When you got mad in the mission with the bocks remember u can move objects with accio, wingardium leviosa and levioso this on levitates objects 😉 ( sorry if the english is wrong not my first language and still learning)
yo Oak, you are doing great, hope you continue to have fun, remember when you have fun we have fun. I would say cut down on the collecting stuff in the highlands by 70%. (but you can still fully clear camps, caves and villages/houses of course). Or this playthrough will take 60+ parts lol
I both love and get so frustrated watching Oak play this game. I love his attitude and genuine joy at the gameplay. I have had to skip past the duels when I keep seeing him leave the ancient magic behind. Also, not OAK perusing the level 5 talent options when he's at level 25.
When you're out exploring around be sure to check out old ruins for traces of ancient magic, it'll be very helpful in the long run to explore them when you find them. They can be easy to miss when you're flying instead of running around.
Hey Oak, that core spell that you keep passing on is one of the best in the game! When you expeliarmis you can throw their weapon back at them with “RB” it does MAJOR damage to them.
another thing you might wanna check out... even when you have to get UP on/into something, ALWAYS look to see if you can use your broom whether its a quest or not. You cant always obviously as you know, but i cant tell you how many times ive spent forever, on the verge of an Oak aneurysm when i couldve used my broom...
🌟You can keep Highwing the hippogriff that you now own in any of your Viveriums and still be able to access her with the nabsack. By doing that you can feed and brush Highwing and get the hippogriff feather you need for upgrades. You don't ever have to remove her from the Viverium. You can still fly her. The nabsack is like a floo flame for your flying beasts. Also you have a Thestral and you can fly her as well. But I do really suggest you get the beast feeder spellcraft from Tomes and Scrolls at Hogsmeade. In that way you won't have to feed your beasts by hand. Your beasts can feed themselves at any time they like. 🦤🦄🪶
I really think you should spend time setting up your room of requirement! They give you multiple massive rooms for a reason...if you put down a ton of potion and potting tables everywhere you will literally never run out of wiggenweld or mallowsweet, and if you set up your animal environments you have unlimited gear upgrades. The potions and plants needing time also makes a lot more sense when you use the room properly. You just have to buy the recipes for room items at tomes and scrolls in hogsmeade and get to decorating!
Don't mind them who telling you that you're using revelio too much, you need to use it to know the area and to solve puzzles. Just like when we play DBH that we need to constantly scan the area as android, to see what object that we can interacted with. As for the box, you can jump on it while it's being levitated by the levioso/leviosa spell. It can help you reach high places. I'm a Ravenclaw but play like a Hufflepuff because I often use chomping cabbages as my allies when got surrounded 😂 As for "selling" the beasts that we rescue, just think of the shop in Hogsmeade as an animal rescue centre where we can keep them safe in a sanctuary like in our room of requirement, and we get money from rescuing them as a reward. They should use the word reward instead of sell, IMO 😅 The poachers of course sell the animals illegally with bad treatment and also with bad intentions, they torture the beasts and even kill them. While the shop in Hogsmeade is not like that, they care for the beasts and will put them in a safe place. I use Expelliarmus only when fighting goblins because after we disarm their weapon, we can use ancient magic throw to throw their weapon back at them and it can deal huge damage. Also, the living vine that can damage us in dark places are Devil Snare, remember what Hermione said in Sorcerer's Stone? Devil Snare is afraid of light, so use Lumos to fend them off.
Remember that the *ding* when casting revelio is a field page. Thats the only thing that dings and its basically a game of hot/cold. Also if you have not gotten it yet, I want to recommend the increased revelio radius talent, it makes life easier, why not upgrade the spell you are using the most? Always a pleasure watching you play. Now ill shut up and get back to watching 😁
Yes finally Oak ♡♡ Also finally you claimed the rewards hahahah Never too much revelio... more is better, so you dont leave nothing behind ♡♡♡♡ Hugs from Spain!!!
Id suggest getting everything in the Spells section of your talent menu. They all vastly improve your effectiveness in battle and you already dont need anything else in any of the talent trees.. avoid room of requirement & stealth for sure as you dont use the potions or plants. Accio,Depulso and Levioso masteries all help a lot with crowd control, especially against spiders and mongrels. Pairing some spells work very well together and does extra damage too. Accio mastery to pull a bunch of enemies in and hitting them with incendio to hit them all at once. Levioso to lift people up and descendo to slam them back down. Glacius to freeze people then hitting them with diffindo to slice em up can almost one shot most enemies. Btw, a second combat spell set is massively helpful. By the time youve gone through that 2nd set, your first will be off cooldown.. this way youre constantly casting spells rather than dodging and basics. For example i have Accio, Incendio, Glacius and Diffindo on my first set (for you, you can just replace confringo with incendio) then on the next set i have Confringo, Expelliarmus, Levioso and Descendo. Its a good mixture of far and close range. And youll always have a fire spell ready for spiders or inferi. After getting used to the 2, you can add in a third with the remaining spells. The fourth you can just use for beast capture & utility (lumos, reparo ect) Just a suggestion because i notice you dodging waiting to cast spells that are on cooldown sometimes. Last thing, in tomes and scrolls they sell small plant pots with 5 potting stations. Its expensive at 3k but this way youll never run out of mallowsweet or other potion ingredients.. plus now you have more storage to sell more gear you collect so it shouldn't take too long. Plus the eye chests dotted around Hogsmeade and Hogwarts give you 1/6th of what youd need.
Man i feel like im leaving too many comments lmao, but tbf it is a 3 hour play through... ANYWAY im so proud of you, Oak at like 1:16:25 ish. Killin it lmao HES SOOOO FOCUSED tryna get these poachers and save Highwing hahaha. Hes running through em. I just wish he would sneak up behind them with the invisible charm and use his Petrificus spell. I wanna see his sneak skills! (Wouldve helped a lot in this quest, Oak! AAAANNND anytime you dont have any "wiggyweld" potion ie after the battledome lol) AND ON TOP OF THAT he was definitely getting the hang of the loc picking mechanisms.. Im so proud 🤣😭 He'll do anything for the animals❤
LOL i ALWAYS find it so funny Oak is so concerned about the FICTIONAL poaching and reselling of FICTIONAL animals haha. But also, if you see this, when you resell your captured beasts at the shop in hogsmeade, the shopkeeper is actually paying you but also puts them in good homes. I cant remember if she says this to you personally or if its in the description/options of your beasts dont quote me, I just know thats where it is
Back with another. We will be trying to setup a live very soon for some Hogwarts. Is there anything crucial that I might have overlooked in this one?

Please look in the new globe ball that landed in your room of requirement 😊 it’s beautiful.
request that you guys play Chivalry 2 please :D
its mostly a team objective based game set in medieval times. knights vs knights kinda thing, but can get very chaotic when both teams are full of players. jump into a melee and start swinging your longsword at everyone you see.
anyway, love your vids guys, thanks!
@@MrClobbertime
Perhaps they should have labeled them tokens versus coin...then players wouldn't feel like thieves...
🌿🌿🌿
A show of hands of those that were both amused and frustrated when Oak didn't see the pull! 😂😂😂😂😂
+1 live stream would help him with trials and not fight every beast on his way😭
The idea is awsome but maybe they think the chat would get annoying telling them what to do all the time. If we promise to behave well, it would be a good experience, they also need a good moderator in the chat to help them in the stream
Yes!!!!!
Yes please that would be awesome. I was secretely hoping that this was one was going to be livestream because of the one week gap. Oh well ;)
For future reference: you can use Leviosa on the block and it will stay floating.
A new vavarium opens and you just walk out of the room of requirement to the next mission 😂 ha ha, that killed me
Try and think of the Pet shop owner more like an Animal Rescue. She takes in animals that need a home and relocates them to a safe.
I know what you meant but that missing last word still makes the sentence amusing.
@@Senkoau LOL - that's great I didn't even realize I forgot the last word.
I'm so giddy with happiness looking at Oak flying on Highwing!!! ❤❤😭😭
Imagine him doing it with the vr mod 😂
For sure the highlight of today
Yeah the things you don’t expect to be an issue usually end up being his biggest issues😂😂
Don't forget to hit the Floo Flames - you went all the way to the NorthEast for the meeting with Natty, and there was a Floo Flame that will save you a trip, next time. When you make these long trips, please find a Floo Flame, to help you minimize the travel next time.
Anyone else shouting just look up at Oak trying to open the drawbridge .😂😂😂
And then the box......
To be fair, that spot was even tricky for me in my playthrough
He may have found it sooner if he didn't have people telling him he uses revelio too much.
That wasn't a drawbridge that was an umbridge 😂
Watching Oak be such a hunky, burly softie just makes my heart melt 🥹
Bypassing the acromantula was absolutely hilarious 🤣🤣
Oak waiting for the cats to talk makes me laugh. I can't help it. LMAO!
😸🤭😹
I still remain amused by the developer response to finding out players where using leviosa then depulso to fire the cats over the horizon. Would certainly have made the game play differently if they responded with a protego and avada kadavra if players used spells on them.
“Wiggleweld”. Adorable, Oak 🤭
3:02:45 Tobbs was gone, long before you got to that cave. Even before you went on the quest to check on him. It is really sad😢
46:30 Oak's "shhhhh" 🤫 lol & Oak reaction to flying around on 'HighWing' was so wholesome!
Tip for beasts!! Grab the 4th spell slot when you get a chance, I think it’s super easy to have at least one of your spell sets strictly for beast catching/care… you aren’t going to want to keep switching your spells around when you come upon a den because it will take to long and they will already have scattered
All he has to do is disillusion and wait for them to come back to the den.
Well yes but if he has disillusion and the bag already in a spell set than he wouldn’t need to wait he could just catch it the first time
@@surferchic15cw Yes, but the rest will scatter as he's catching the first, he can disillusion and wait for them to come back instead of chasing after them.
@MrClobbertime that's not the point. Why wouldn't you make it easier having a beast catching spell set? And why tf wait around when you can do it in 1 go😂 you just like making things harder for yourself
@@MrClobbertimechasing after them is easier than waiting around with your thumb in your ass when you can just cast leviosa and capture them
You can cast levioso on the block to make it float in mid air☺️ (put it in place with wingardium like you did, and then levioso)
When the oak smiled, we all smiled too 😁
1:14:44 Levioso, Oak.
Keep it up 😊
Hey Oak, you can definitely defeat the spider in the cave!
I hope Diamond Dave doesn’t burn himself out from working too hard (as well as the rest of you) because as much as I can’t wait to watch the channel grow further I’m sure I speak for many when I say I just hope you’re all enjoying the journey as much as when you started - it’s been a pleasure so far to witness, so thank you :)
(Edit: Oh dear I’m good at rambling on, that was much longer than I’d anticipated - whoops, sorry!)
Absolutely. You made the rant, so I didn’t have to, but absolutely 💯
“How do I get to the roof?” *goes down the stairs*😂 probably not that way.
yes!! Been waiting for a new episode, can't wait to watch this one when I'm back home from work. Thx Oak!
2:49:43 "This feels new"
Me: *SCREAMING INTERNALLY*
Babe PLEASE. You went that way 367 times and didnt jump across. I was gonna write in my diary about it and cry myself to sleep
It's so cool to see how invested he is in the world of Harry Potter now 👏🏾❤️
Hello Oak! Im so happy to see another hogwarts legacy video! It makes me so happy to see you play it and discover things! My tips for you!:
Catching beasts with stupefy.
Sometimes you will find the spots where the vine will damage you- using lumos will make them cower and slither away, as long as you’re casting lumos, as they don’t like light
I hope this could help! Absolutely adore your videos
Oak at 1:23:45 (Perfect time stamp btw wow!) "IDK if anyone can see how big the smile on my face is"
Also Oak the entire time he was flying before he said that: 😐 .... I love him so much lmfaoooo
Hahaha I was thinking that too, but you can tell when he’s smiling on the inside.
@@wowkir haha omg totally. he was a kid in a candy store. it was PRECIOUS
I got help from my chomping cabbage army 😂
I hated Tobb's master, I really wanna throw him into Azkaban so dementors can have him 😒
Ohh yeaah, finally!
You finally got to my favourite quest, Oak! I absolutely love when we get to ride Highwing for the first time. The graphics, music and nostalgia make this so amazing! And your reaction didn't disappoint 💪💚
Petting all the cats is a main mission for me
Oak, you gotta go into the quests prepared… stock up on wiggenweld potion especially, but also any other potions you use.
Yes I defeated the spider, I honestly didn't know you could bypass it. You taught me something new, thank you.
To bypass them, use lumos because they hate light
Handy Hint: use accio/wingardium leviosa to move the box, and levioso to levitate it so you can then climb onto it to reach high places
The trouble you had with the block, next time just use Leviosa, you can climb ontop of it and reach where you need to go 👍
"Glitch out" - I got stuck in a spot I never should have been able to physically get in, and my save point was pretty far back. It took me 20 minutes of trying everything before I got out of the place I was wedged into.
live streams, live streams, live streams :D
I Love Oak so much. But my God does he have the worst sense of direction. I had such a hard time keeping myself from bursting out laughing my head off super loudly during the Tobbs quest. Seeing him over and over and over again going back to the same location when all he had to do is to continue to go forward. I just can't.🧭 LMAOROTF!
🤣🤣🤣
Oh! Then after getting killed multiple times he just runs past the big boss spider. Cool! Whatever works is good in my books. LMAO! 😂👍
I Love Oak! ❣️
The potion vendors in each hamlet if you talk to them give you hints to quests and notorious enemies nearby then when you solve the problem give you new dialogue relating to the solution. Most of them will have three bits of dialogue you can get.
Great job in the Dark Arts Battle Arena. Well Done! Bravo! 👏🎉
Next time, Imperio the troll. Always make the biggest bad beast do all the heavy lifting work for you. 😉👍
🪄💀
Fastest quick to watch Oak do his Hogwarts thing!!
🦄My suggestion after defeating any poachers. Revelio the area they were in. Sometimes they have magical beasts locked up in cages that needs to be set freed. Plus there might be chests and bags to take as well. So always Revelio any poacher or Ashwinder camp you defeat.
🪄✨️🦤
Not me AUDIBLY SCREAMING cuz 1:18:35 . The dodge was SOOO CLEEEEEANNNNN. Patreon here i come
Oak please(!) look at the mini map when you're in an underground cavern of any sorts. It will light up in areas you've been and be dark for places you still need to explore. It can be an incredible help with working out where you need to go next!
Anyone else shouting at oak to check his minimap how to walk before he jumps of a wall? And walking like 5 times passed a demiguise?
Yess 🙌 excited to watch this 😊
a little tip for catching beasts^^ Make your self invisible, freeze the beast and them catch them^^
3:01:30 Yes Oak. Others defeated the big bad. Difficult though.
You picked your battles. As Oak said to Deek, “...avoid the spiders in the end” 3:02:06
for the blocks you can levioso them after you have moved them to where you want, to levitate them in place so that you can climb them while they are in mid air. you don't need to turn them on their side.
you should use revelio after a battle to see where all the loot dropped instead or running around to blindly find some of it while leaving a lot behind when you leave the area
a general tip is use the camera to look around more, while also using revelio without moving as things like the door latch in the castle can be higher up in your field of view or just behind you and you don't see it right away.
We appreciate the edits Dave! 😂❤
Amazing timing! Just sat down after work
I totally agree with you oak I love our community, no community is perfect and the potter community has it hitches, but overall we all just bond over these amazing stories and adventures and I love how we've grown to make our own stories and adventures it makes me so happy, as Emma said Harry potter makes life richer. Can't wait to interact with y'all in future livestreams.❤
It’s never under or over using revelio. As much as a person playing this game wants to use revelio is the right amount for that person
Another fun video! Loved seeing you enjoy flying on Highwing. Look out for missions with Poppy - you'll love them if you're an animal lover! A couple of feedback notes:
- Remember that you can (and should) try to get as many Wigglenweld potions as you can before you go on a mission - especially if it's a main quest as they tend to have fights involved.
- And finally I think it'd be a great idea to do livestreams for Hogwars Legacy- we can be on the chat with you and drop some of this advice while you're playing so that you don't have to sit there in frustration :)
Good luck and enjoy :)
Oak I was worried! So glad you’re back, thanks for the bday surprise!
I've been waiting for you to get to this part! 😆
➡️ Bags trapped in locations you can't get to;
1: Sometimes you just have to either move the object that is blocking the bag or blast the object that is blocking the bag out of the way. Confringo or Bombarda will do.
🪄💥
2: Most of the time it's a super annoying glitch in the game that will drive you up the wall trying to get to the bag for far too long. Boy do I hate those glitches. Drives me nuts. LOL!
🎮🤨😤🙄🤦♀️😆
Think of it this way, the villagers are so grateful for you clearing out baddies that they leave you gifts 🎁
YES! I've waited 2 weeks for this! So glad to have you back, Oak.
Good too know oaks out there to rescue these beasts from there natural habitat 😂
I’ve been waiting for this one, oaks gonna lose his mind in the future one hahaha😅 can’t wait.
remember to look for the shimmers for more lore especially in the castle any shimmer you see needs a revelio
My advice only collect those things when you need them cause so far I’m sure you have plenty of them.
you did soooo well in the battle arena, well done!!!
Thank you for another great gameplay video. I love how you use your comments and tips and implement them. Loved seeing that you finished up some side and main quests anr loved the editing 😂
Like everyone else said already use Levioso on the boxes and be sure that when you are stuck to look around from a distance and look up from time to time (referring to the gate)
I'm glad your back :D missed HL with you when there was a one week gap 😊
you can beat the spider, and you can always come back to the cave later hahaha
It is a pretty fun community and so glad you're apart of it Oak :)
You forgot the butterflys😢😢
About the niffler running away you have to use glacius, levioso, or arresto momento to stop them to run away 😊
When you are done battle the enemy always revelio and look 360 slow. You missed some chest and money
When you got mad in the mission with the bocks remember u can move objects with accio, wingardium leviosa and levioso this on levitates objects 😉
( sorry if the english is wrong not my first language and still learning)
yo Oak, you are doing great, hope you continue to have fun, remember when you have fun we have fun. I would say cut down on the collecting stuff in the highlands by 70%. (but you can still fully clear camps, caves and villages/houses of course). Or this playthrough will take 60+ parts lol
Yeah I’d say it’s unnecessary to land your broom on the way to a mission just for moonstone and stuff like that.
I love this game👍🏼🔥
Hey Oak, that core spell that you keep passing on is one of the best in the game! When you expeliarmis you can throw their weapon back at them with “RB” it does MAJOR damage to them.
another thing you might wanna check out... even when you have to get UP on/into something, ALWAYS look to see if you can use your broom whether its a quest or not. You cant always obviously as you know, but i cant tell you how many times ive spent forever, on the verge of an Oak aneurysm when i couldve used my broom...
Tips for combat : use plants and potions ! The cabages are great, and mlst of the potions available are very powerful too !
🦤🦄🪶
Someone needs to give kudos to Diamond Dave for the editing hahaha loved the last few minutes
You can never Revelio enough. Ignore the silly people who complain about the Revelio. It's not their game. It's yours.
🎮😉👍
Don't mind them who telling you that you're using revelio too much, you need to use it to know the area and to solve puzzles. Just like when we play DBH that we need to constantly scan the area as android, to see what object that we can interacted with.
As for the box, you can jump on it while it's being levitated by the levioso/leviosa spell. It can help you reach high places.
I'm a Ravenclaw but play like a Hufflepuff because I often use chomping cabbages as my allies when got surrounded 😂
As for "selling" the beasts that we rescue, just think of the shop in Hogsmeade as an animal rescue centre where we can keep them safe in a sanctuary like in our room of requirement, and we get money from rescuing them as a reward. They should use the word reward instead of sell, IMO 😅
The poachers of course sell the animals illegally with bad treatment and also with bad intentions, they torture the beasts and even kill them.
Doing a great job Oak! Try using spell combos to climb the blocks. I used Leviosa and Arresto Momentum
Yes finally Oak ♡♡
Also finally you claimed the rewards hahahah
Never too much revelio... more is better, so you dont leave nothing behind ♡♡♡♡
Hugs from Spain!!!
The fourth you can just use for beast capture & utility (lumos, reparo ect)
Just a suggestion because i notice you dodging waiting to cast spells that are on cooldown sometimes.
AAAANNND anytime you dont have any "wiggyweld" potion ie after the battledome lol)
AND ON TOP OF THAT he was definitely getting the hang of the loc picking mechanisms.. Im so proud 🤣😭 He'll do anything for the animals❤
Yes!! ❤Loved it, thanks Oak
