    You can kinda tell she lived in London, she sounds like she is straight out of Eastenders!
    Scouse is really difficult to pronounce without doing your throat in though if you're not from the area, you're both impressive. My region has a bit of a dialect too, but nothing this fun!

    As a scouser, I do enjoy these vids, I do wonder if Korean Billy is aware of the term 'Wool', which we scousers use to mean anything that isn't from Liverpool?

    Ending sentences with 'La' is very common in Singaporean English too. I wonder if Singapore adopted this from Liverpool dialect when they were a colony of Britain. I love Singlish (Singaporean English), it's gotta be one of the cutest sounding accents I've ever heard!

      It's the accent most people outside of the UK are most familiar with as it's the one you hear most on tv, but hardly anyone in the UK speaks the queen's English which often surprises people when they come to the UK.

    Actually I find this highly amusing and Billy seems a nice guy. His pronunciations of Scouse words. I've lived in Liverpool on and off for decades but I do not speak Scouse. I can understand it and can imitate most of these words except for 'Brekkie'....I applauded Billy for conquering that sound. I have , however never heard anyone say The Asda but after a little investigation I found someone who says this. That's commendable. I am not snobby but I know what Scouse sounds like to English people like myself and wouldn't like to speak it. No offense to Scousers. I am in fact of Newcastle origin and do not speak Geordie . I like to listen to my mother's Geordie accent. It's lovely.

    I'm british but not liverpool, I'm from suffolk and I don't think they say pronounce it kcha like some sort of french work, we pronounce it like ck from the word tricky. also I think when you say chocka you say chocka block, as in busy. I'm just going from my british pronunciation and TV.

    • @emmo4765
      @emmo4765 7 лет назад

      In liverpool we just say chocka, without the block. Just made shorter I guess.

      But WHY on earth do you need to comment on it? Is it something that is so difficult to keep for yourself? The internet comment sections are making human beings less and less sympathetic. Your comment is not the worst, of course, but still; it is this constant need to write something pejoratif.
