He has a "journal" part that he writes in depth. I am careful where I spend and I often do not keep the membership past one month. Just letting u know it is worth to pay the membership and listen to him run his mouth lol. I am frugal :-) and is worth it. Just wanted to share that. I am retired and with a back injury mostly stuck in bed. Believe me I don't think I am his "demographic" or typical viewer.

Reference to 12:33 (about). As a property manager, you may misunderstand the application forms. These forms aren't there to make a final determination. These forms are supposed to help you lower the risks. For example what you previously mentioned with felony charges. After you see the obvious, there is more vetting you need to make. In the future, also consider a short-term rental, before you commit to a 1-year-lease! I'm 100% sure you wouldn't have commited to this rental after 2 weeks living with her.

You need to crimp/ crush those electrical wires that you heat shrink together….the metal inside is meant to grip the wires by getting crushed around it then you heat it up to make a water tight seal. You’re basically just holding the wires together with the melted plastic.
Where I live all a landlord has to do is say that they or a family member wants to take over the unit and give you either 30 or 60 days notice and you're out (lease or no lease). You can ask for a court date and try to get an extension, but in most cases it's not going to do any good. You can also get people out by saying you need to do renovations to the building.
Did you know, milo could have taken your money and still stayed. Then you'd go through the court process, get the judgement, and never see a penny back. "You can't get blood out of a turnip"

Stop fighting, be a courteous landlord, and file for eviction on every eviction form that may apply. Since you share common areas it should not be to hard. A judge is likely to throw out your case for removing the shower head or other aggressive behaviour. A Tenant can cause $20,000 in property damage in a very short time. Explain to your tenant that it's not personal, but you have the bank breathing down your back.
I can't believe nobody is pointing out the retaliation of removing the showerhead, microwave tray, couches, etc. I would think if you rent a place furnished and equipped with that stuff and remove it when someone is a few days late on their rent, it's not going to look good. His other roommate Claire was also late on rent but he let it slide because she was trying her best and otherwise amiable. He did what he did to milo because she was not only a few days late but initially REFUSED to pay rent when asked, damaged his property, was a pathological liar, threatened to unalive herself to him for "forcing" her to pay rent, and just kept terrorizing both him and the other tenant for essentially the entire duration of her short stay.

We had to rent a room out once & it was the worst experience. They were a young couple & fought all the time. Screaming, throwing things, breaking up loudly, physical fights. They had a cat, Rupert, that they didn’t look after & I ended up feeding him, flea treatment etc. Poor baby disappeared one day, they didn’t care. Then they got a kitten which, surprise, they neglected. I again fed it etc. He ended up living downstairs with me, the dog & my cats. She left him, I had to get between them so she could get out because he was holding her physically & emptying her clothes etc out of bags. She left, told me via text that I could keep Ogee (the cat), that she couldn’t keep him where she was. He was still living with us, said he couldn’t pay the full rent because she wasn’t there anymore. Ok we lowered it. I wanted to make sure Ogee was mine so I sent him a text telling him that Ogee was spraying my house, fighting with my cats & he needed to be desexed (all true, he only got on with me & the dog). He shot back I don’t want him desexed & anyway he’s (name of girl) her cat & he is just minding him for her til she’s settled. That’s all I needed. I already had her text that she gave him to me, now I had him admitting he was her cat. So I had him desexed, microchipped in my name, his vaccinations etc. That night he texted why does the cat have a shaved front leg? I said I got him desexed. He said I told you I didn’t want him desexed. I said & I told you that he was spraying my house & beating up my cats. He had nothing to say. Then (with a restraining order still in place) she’s back. I asked him why she was back & what about the restraining order. He said he can have visitors if he wants & the only way I’d know about the restraining order was if I opened his mail. I texted back calling him a disrespectful brat, told him I didn’t open his mail, didn’t even want to open my own mail & sent him screen shots of her telling me about the order. Anyway I rang the cops to ask what (if any) legal trouble would I be in re the order & them being in my house together. He said none & there was nothing they could do unless she complained. So! She’s there all the time now, back living with him & they’re still paying the lower rent. I asked them to start paying the old rent again, he said they shower together, they can’t afford it, they’re hardly ever here & they’re not paying more. Then one Friday without saying a word, they moved out. And stole my bloody cat! I texted them to bring him back. They denied having him. I ranted, railed, threatened them. Denied having him. So I hired Pet Detectives (yes they exist) & it took 23 days, $1200 but they found him. The detective took the cops to their door, said they were there to do a welfare check on the cat, scanned Ogee, confirmed the microchip number, put him in a carry case & said he was going back to me. There was nothing they could do. I have a picture of Ogee on top of Finn (my staffy) doing biscuits on his back within 5 minutes of him being back at my house. We were all so happy to see him. He was not in good shape. He hadn’t been bathing himself because his fur was matted & his eyes were messy with goop. He was thin & his face was gaunt. But a week of love, good food, smooches & he was back to normal. He even started getting on well with my other cats. I stalk those two from time to time on FB. They’ve broken up, had a baby, she’s been or is a lesbian, I don’t know, (no disrespect intended), he tasered his mate for fun, he got arrested (not for the taser, for dui), they got back together…… it’s like The Real Housewives without the millions of dollars. He did send me one text after I got Ogee back saying they had legal advice & would be taking me to court to get the cat back. That the lawyer said they had a good case & would get him back with ease but he was giving me the chance to bring him back. I wanted to send a laughing emoji, or ask with what money are you going to sue me or just list the evidence I had how they had given him to me. But in the end I just ignored him & surprise! Never heard from them again. Ogee Snipes was the best cat. He came for walks with me & Finn, ruled the house (in a good way), loved on my son & I & the other cats. We had him for 5 more years until a snake got him. 🥲 He was a ginger by the way. RIP Ogee Snipes, you were & still are, worth every trouble, every $ & every tear. I’m glad for both you and Claire that the problem is gone. I do have a suggestion for future you- if you want to rent to better quality tenants, then pay a realtor to pull a property profile on your house. That document, which comes from a title agency, will prove that you are the owner and show the entire transaction history of the property. That way, the better tenants won’t be scared away. I would also talk to some realtors that do rental contracts because they work with families who have more of an incentive to be both peaceful and permanent. Take care.

I’ve gone through a similar situation, my roommate moved out 2 days before I had rent due without letting me know, and he didn’t pay me for it, and I had to come up with 500$+ to pay his half of the rent🤦🏻♂️ he was super messy, never cleaned up after himself, never helped around the house. definitely one of the most stressful time I’ve ever gone thru, roommates suck..it happened to me twice, I will say they were my best friends who thru me under the bus. I’m glad you were able to find a solution. I live alone with my gf now thankfully.

You actually made a huge mistake by taking this to RUclips and not going to the police immediately :/ when you don't report blackmail or extortion immediately any amount of time between whenever it reportedly started and you not taking action actually can be held against you in a court of law if the person knows how to make the right arguments. You would truly be protecting yourself and your renting history of your subletting this apartment but also renting it yourself and don't own the property it can affect your renters history as well. However to be honest subletting is already kinda a bad thing to do. Renting to also be a landlord through subletting should be illegal to be honest. It's just bad all around x.x

You need to crimp/ crush those electrical wires that you heat shrink together….the metal inside is meant to grip the wires by getting crushed around it then you heat it up to make a water tight seal. You’re basically just holding the wires together with the melted plastic.

Where I live all a landlord has to do is say that they or a family member wants to take over the unit and give you either 30 or 60 days notice and you're out (lease or no lease). You can ask for a court date and try to get an extension, but in most cases it's not going to do any good. You can also get people out by saying you need to do renovations to the building.
Did you know, milo could have taken your money and still stayed. Then you'd go through the court process, get the judgement, and never see a penny back.

Stop fighting, be a courteous landlord, and file for eviction on every eviction form that may apply. Since you share common areas it should not be to hard. A judge is likely to throw out your case for removing the shower head or other aggressive behaviour. A Tenant can cause $20,000 in property damage in a very short time. Explain to your tenant that it's not personal, but you have the bank breathing down your back.
I can't believe nobody is pointing out the retaliation of removing the showerhead, microwave tray, couches, etc. I would think if you rent a place furnished and equipped with that stuff and remove it when someone is a few days late on their rent, it's not going to look good. This kid makes ridiculous decisions and has a fanbase that rarely criticizes him.

He did what he did to milo because she was not only a few days late but initially REFUSED to pay rent when asked, damaged his property, was a pathological liar, threatened to unalive herself to him for "forcing" her to pay rent, and just kept terrorizing both him and the other tenant for essentially the entire duration of her short stay.

You cannot pull stunts like that in the professional world of property management. Just the fact that he's making a public video,. potentially defaming her, would be terrible for him in an eviction court.

We had to rent a room out once & it was the worst experience. They were a young couple & fought all the time. Screaming, throwing things, breaking up loudly, physical fights.
They had a cat, Rupert, that they didn’t look after & I ended up feeding him, flea treatment etc. Poor baby disappeared one day, they didn’t care. Then they got a kitten which, surprise, they neglected. I again fed it etc. He ended up living downstairs with me, the dog & my cats.
She left him, I had to get between them so she could get out because he was holding her physically & emptying her clothes etc out of bags. She left, told me via text that I could keep Ogee (the cat), that she couldn’t keep him where she was.
He was still living with us, said he couldn’t pay the full rent because she wasn’t there anymore. Ok we lowered it.
I wanted to make sure Ogee was mine so I sent him a text telling him that Ogee was spraying my house, fighting with my cats & he needed to be desexed (all true, he only got on with me & the dog). He shot back I don’t want him desexed & anyway he’s (name of girl) her cat & he is just minding him for her til she’s settled. That’s all I needed. I already had her text that she gave him to me, now I had him admitting he was her cat. So I had him desexed, microchipped in my name, his vaccinations etc.
That night he texted why does the cat have a shaved front leg? I said I got him desexed. He said I told you I didn’t want him desexed. I said & I told you that he was spraying my house & beating up my cats. He had nothing to say.
Then (with a restraining order still in place) she’s back.
I asked him why she was back & what about the restraining order. He said he can have visitors if he wants & the only way I’d know about the restraining order was if I opened his mail. I texted back calling him a disrespectful brat, told him I didn’t open his mail, didn’t even want to open my own mail & sent him screen shots of her telling me about the order.
Anyway I rang the cops to ask what (if any) legal trouble would I be in re the order & them being in my house together. He said none & there was nothing they could do unless she complained.
So! She’s there all the time now, back living with him & they’re still paying the lower rent. I asked them to start paying the old rent again, he said they shower together, they can’t afford it, they’re hardly ever here & they’re not paying more.
Then one Friday without saying a word, they moved out. And stole my bloody cat! I texted them to bring him back. They denied having him. I ranted, railed, threatened them. Denied having him.
So I hired Pet Detectives (yes they exist) & it took 23 days, $1200 but they found him. The detective took the cops to their door, said they were there to do a welfare check on the cat, scanned Ogee, confirmed the microchip number, put him in a carry case & said he was going back to me. There was nothing they could do.
I have a picture of Ogee on top of Finn (my staffy) doing biscuits on his back within 5 minutes of him being back at my house. We were all so happy to see him.
He was not in good shape. He hadn’t been bathing himself because his fur was matted & his eyes were messy with goop. He was thin & his face was gaunt. But a week of love, good food, smooches & he was back to normal. He even started getting on well with my other cats.
I stalk those two from time to time on FB. They’ve broken up, had a baby, she’s been or is a lesbian, I don’t know, (no disrespect intended), he tasered his mate for fun, he got arrested (not for the taser, for dui), they got back together…… it’s like The Real Housewives without the millions of dollars.
He did send me one text after I got Ogee back saying they had legal advice & would be taking me to court to get the cat back. That the lawyer said they had a good case & would get him back with ease but he was giving me the chance to bring him back. I wanted to send a laughing emoji, or ask with what money are you going to sue me or just list the evidence I had how they had given him to me. But in the end I just ignored him & surprise! Never heard from them again.
Ogee Snipes was the best cat. He came for walks with me & Finn, ruled the house (in a good way), loved on my son & I & the other cats. We had him for 5 more years until a snake got him. 🥲
He was a ginger by the way. RIP Ogee Snipes, you were & still are, worth every trouble, every $ & every tear.

I’m glad for both you and Claire that the problem is gone. I do have a suggestion for future you- if you want to rent to better quality tenants, then pay a realtor to pull a property profile on your house. That document, which comes from a title agency, will prove that you are the owner and show the entire transaction history of the property. That way, the better tenants won’t be scared away. I would also talk to some realtors that do rental contracts because they work with families who have more of an incentive to be both peaceful and permanent. Take care.
And she still doesn't have an eviction on her record.

This situation sucks! I’ve gone through a similar situation, my roommate moved out 2 days before I had rent due without letting me know, and he didn’t pay me for it, and I had to come up with 500$+ to pay his half of the rent🤦🏻♂️ he was super messy, never cleaned up after himself, never helped around the house. definitely one of the most stressful time I’ve ever gone thru, roommates suck..it happened to me twice, I will say they were my best friends who thru me under the bus. I’m glad you were able to find a solution. I live alone with my gf now thankfully.

I live in a house that's way too big for me but on 10 acres in the country. When someone is a scammer, they will go to the utmost lengths to get the most out of a situation. We don’t get to decide when we run into a scammer or deserve to take any fault for simply being a target. He did the best he could in my opinion.

You actually made a huge mistake by taking this to RUclips and not going to the police immediately :/ when you don't report blackmail or extortion immediately any amount of time between whenever it reportedly started and you not taking action actually can be held against you in a court of law if the person knows how to make the right arguments. You would truly be protecting yourself and your renting history of your subletting this apartment but also renting it yourself and don't own the property it can affect your renters history as well. However to be honest subletting is already kinda a bad thing to do. Renting to also be a landlord through subletting should be illegal to be honest. It's just bad all around x.x
