the mac11 was actually my favourite smg in the game, enjoyed how quick you were with it, the handling, the iron sight. i used to mostly play hardcore (SnD) back then and the gun was really good for me.
The amount time I played this game on splitscreen in multiplayer is insane , sad they dont do this anymore I mean splitscreen that was awsome . If I am correct there was some super hard missions vs npc that was the best part
If I recall correctly one of the issue with Black Ops SMGs was their damage was the same and basically most of them (except AK-74u and Skorpion) had the same stats (headshot multiplier, recoil pattern, etc.). The only difference was mags dimension and iron sight. Maybe it is not that way, but I have this memory about a video explaining weapons balance of original MW2 compared to Black Ops with data
You should try the L96A1 with variable zoom (I always used it on the second zoom), whatever secondary, and flackjacket, steady aim, tac mask. I used this class along with uav, counter uav, and blackbird for hundreds of hours and it’s easily my favorite setup from any cod. Love the videos!
That’s really awkward how you shoot it with 1 hand but when u sprint it switches to 2 hand. You’d think his arms would pump like holding a sidearm when he runs.

Yet in game it’s dead accurate for all ranges and seems way larger. They should have moved most of them into secondaries like mw2 instead of just having the cz75.

You are correct and this is why bo1 was never my favorite cod. All of the weapons were extremely similar and there was not a lot of variety.

Try the spectre with rapid fire and grip, it is an underrated setup imo

The recoil and damage falloff was terrible for smgs. I loved using the stakeoff on grid/nuketown/firing range

Mac-11 was my brother’s main smg, he always was using it. For me was the Spectre but I wished I used more the Kiparis.
