Great patreon Steamkey this time, Gary -- it's 2019's SLAY THE SPIRE, already considered a classic by many I think, a roguelike deckbuilder with cool artstyle & deep gameplay. Cheers!
Not trying to brag, but I own physical copies of a lot these still. Not so much special editions, but still quite a decent chunk. 10 years ago they weren't really worth anything.
I feel like alot of these shouldn't count as the collector's editions of alot of games didn't actually add anything to the game and just gave you like an artbook, cd, plastic figure etc. This makes it so that all those extra goodies are the valuable things and not the game itself. Also the plastic instrument ones shouldn't count ether as its the instruments that are valuable not the game.
@gab hug The Chinese version of Lost in the Rain (the only one with English subtitles) goes for 400 - 500 euros. There's tons of other examples, but it's not my job to figure all that out.
As mentioned in the description, the source of the data presented on this list is pricecharting.com - which is recognized as one of the better and more accurate valuation sites (as it provides links to ebay sales data and the like). Do you have any more substantiative evidence of "missing a lot of rare and expensive games" other than just making a blanket statement?
@@WimzorTheGreat That's odd - I'm not deleting your comments (as evidenced by the fact that I'm actually replying to this). I've also seen your comment on Lost in the Rain - but I am still going to ask you to provide more detail. I have looked up Lost in the Rain, and indeed it is quite expensive on Amazon - but is puzzlingly not listed on pricecharting.
@@GaryRetroGamer This is really outdated as so many of these games prices have changed and skyrocketed over the past couple of years and i imagine next year and more it will change so much more.
Hm, I wonder how the JoJo ASB price will change with the new version coming out. I'd like to sell my copy, but it looks like they're changing the designs, voices and mechanics for the new one.
there are games listed i would never give any cent to buy them, PS3 have games sure less valuable but way much better than 40% of games listed in this video, like Vanquish, Metal Gear, Sengoku Basara, Bayonetta, Final Fantasy, Ace Combat, and soo many others, this list contains maybe 20 games worth buying, however, its about taste !
Errata: "Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2" (00:48) should be #92 - not 91. Thanks @furballo1992 for pointing that out!
Finally a New vídeo of ps3 games yeeeaaaaashh thank you gary! Keep up the incredible work!

I agree.
This video is missing a lot of rare and expensive games for PS3.

@@GaryRetroGamer I'm trying to make a statement, but it always gets deleted by you. Quite a shame, really.

Objectivity: on
I honestly think the titles and values overlapped waay too much. Hard to read. Those amounts are weird, who comes up with these?
you skipped 92
Ah, good catch. That's a mistake on my part. Thanks for pointing it out!
