Well done once again! So proud of how you've grown your setup and this channel! Keep it up!
Really loving the build especially the use of the cable covers. I’ve never thought of installing that and looks so interesting.
I'm still amazed by your cockpit! This touchscreen in the middle looks great! Keep up the great work!
These videos are great. I have never seen someone else make a cockpit like this for SC. Great work man!
Your setup is absolutely mind blowing. I found your videos when i was looking up sim racing cockpits. But now you got me interested in virtual space!
You could build one that supports all of them. Space, earth flight and racing. He has a video that he swaps a few things out to go from flight sim to space and I’m sure with a few mods it could go to racing
Your skill with carpentry and technology is truly admirable, and that is an amazing flight simulator you have built!
Thanks!
It's been so much fun getting to watch your setup grow! I wish I had the space and time to dedicate to building a cockpit like this. Please keep the videos coming.
I think it has been around a year since I’ve discovered your channel while searching setup when I bought SC. I must say that you are incredibly devoted to what you are doing and it bring me joy to watch your videos when they come out. Flight safe and continue like that. Words of a fan ❤
Awesome! Been waiting to see what you do with that display!
hey there, im a big fan of star wars and when I found about star citizen a couple months back I was blazing with excitement I am currently building my pc with the money I saved over the years just so I could play this game and I am going to save up for a better setup to make the game feel more immersive. your videos has inspired me to make my own setup ❤love your vids bro you always somehow manage to hype me up😁
Thanks, really glad to hear!
That cockpit is pretty immersive))) Nice!
It's a wonderful addition to your already awesome setup! Keep up the great work!
This is so awesome! I love your use of your old used equipment.
Absolutely love this setup man look forward to the next insane thing you add to it
Jäkligt snygg setup! Bra jobbat!
Amazing, i love the overlay!
Wow I did’t know about this. That’s actually brilliant idea, I need to dig more about it
Loving your build more and more with each episode.
Damm thats awsome! I always thought a tuch screen would work well there, happy you could pull it off. Defiinatly some insperation for me. Keep up the awsome work! 🤟
I love your videos! I stumbled upon your videos recently after getting into Star citizen. I really want to make a diy setup like yours! Thanks for the opportunity to be in the giveaway!
Love your videos, I can't wait til I have a house with room for your kind of setup again. Keep it up!!
Excellent job here! Your woodworking skills are also getting better and better all the time.
Been following the build and it looks like you have done and amazing job with it
Great video, been looking for something like this, have been building a cockpit of my own to play star citizen.
Great Project! this video deserves Some attention!
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, these videos are awesome and your build is really great. Keep up the great work 🤟🤟
This is great, been considering something like this for myself!
I'm SO glad I found your channel! I'm looking at building my own cockpit VERY similar to yours, and have slowly been planning. Seeing your set up has given me a TON of inspiration!
Glad to hear! Also my cockpit's 3D files are available here in case you want to use them in any way: www.undeadparrot.com/simpit-3d-model-star-citizen-dcs/
@@UndeadParrot Just a quick FYI, your discord link brings me to an invalid invite page :( You must have generated an invite link that expires.
@@DeltaGen42 Oh, I'll have to fix it, thanks for letting me know. Here's one that should work: discord.gg/r5ATK7UmHW
That setup is amazing!
Really professional looking setup. Looking forward to do my own.
You are very creative 👍
Might have to build a cockpit some day for those long winters. Use to game all the time when I was younger and got into building stuff instead. Might come full circle and combine the both.
Cheers
You provide a steady stream of inspiration. Thanks of sharing!
Hey, love that setup, ive been watching you for a while now. I dabble in carpentry and have built my own desktop but looking to expand with a setup like this one day
Nice vid man
Parrot, your DIY projects are truly something, and although I said this in Disc, having a shard for SRS is a REALLY good idea! I'll have to pick your brain on it.
Great job and wonderful setup. Keep making us dream with your talent.
I love the idea of the SRS controls on game glass! I had never considered that. I also saw in on Reddit where there is a Stanton SRS in Star Citizen!
I like your setup 🙂 (had to choose that one from your options 😄)
Your set up is unreal... i love it and i am very jealous
Loving your set up mate 👍
You’re an inspiration for me to build out my rig as nicely as yours. Time to put my wood working skills to the test.
Such a commitnment to SC! would love to have the time to build such a rig ! Great work!
This is the goal! I want to also have a clean glass flight deck set up that’s seamless. Thanks for the inspiration and great giveaway!
Completely insane in a good way👍
It is kinda amazing how people create stuff like you did, i find it really hard to do stuff other than designing circuit boards.
I live in an old house so I’ve picked up woodworking skills through renovating places here.
@@UndeadParrot Well i respect that even more than, for me learning skills that need cordination is really hard since i have a problem where i'm just bad with my hand eye cordination. But i'm always happy to learn new stuff :)
Great work as always.
Been hankering lately for a simpit build for Mechwarrior. Guess I'll start building now that summer is getting closer. Your setup looks amazing!
Thanks! In case you want some inspiration or any other use, I have the 3D model available here: www.undeadparrot.com/simpit-3d-model-star-citizen-dcs/
That's some good info! Gonna take tips for mine.
You are brilliant. I need it in my life!
Amazing build man! Would love to have a home set up like this!
What an amazing giveaway! Love these videos!
Very nice sc cockpit and wonderful videos.
Awesome, I think I mentioned game glass in one of my previous comments during your build. I wasn't sure if I'd go physicalized or game-glass but seeing it here really seems it'd be everything I'd need. Great video, loved the screen mount and carbon fiber look.
Thanks! To be honest, I like to have both, but GameGlass alone can be really versitile.
@UndeadParrot gaming yeah'i have the x56 by Logitech and have all the buttons mapped, I'm still going to be building something for sure!! Love the content keep up the great work!
I just happen to stumble upon your channel while looking for Microsoft flight simulator videos. Impressive work I will investigate star Citizen. Thank you.
Thanks!
awesome setup!
This is a pretty awesome set up, I want something similar one day!
Thanks! If you'll end starting a project some day, I have my 3D model available, that I used to build mine, here: www.undeadparrot.com/simpit-3d-model-star-citizen-dcs/
I’m always all in friends sent me this! Fingers crossed perfect star citizen set up I need haha
Nerd level = godly engineer
What an awesome setup
Interesting point is that I’m actually marketer by trade. 😀
love the setup! I can see myself doing something similar and using gameglass!
Thanks!
Amazing video and GameGlass was new to me.
Someday I will have the space and money to make a cockpit! Until then I will live vicariously through you!
Insane? I don't know.... personally, I think your simpit is a WORK OF ART! Truely beautiful.
Me and my friend watch your vids together and from you we learned about gameglass.
Great video and great music!
I've been following your build closely and I like the way you are constantly iterating and innovating! I dream of finding a place to build something similar in my own house someday!
Buy a storage building and built it out in there and add a small split unit for heat and air. Much easier then telling the wife your using an entire room in the house 😂
sweet, this game glass thing has come a long way.
Such an inspiration for my simpit design, which is still just that, a design. But thanks to you and your very helpful DIY way of doing things has given me some crazy ideas lol
Thanks for the content, Keep it up!
Thanks, glad to hear it! If it's of any help, my cockpit's 3D model is also available for download for free: www.undeadparrot.com/simpit-3d-model-star-citizen-dcs/
Oh cool! Thanks!
I love you cockpit, I hope one day I can have something similar ;)
This is a dream setup for me. Dam.
Looks amazing! I'm ready to upgrade my sim pit
Thanks! If you'll end up building one, I have my plans available for free here: www.undeadparrot.com/simpit-3d-model-star-citizen-dcs/
Great stuff as always. One day when I will have the free space to put a simpit I'll take inspiration from your work! :)
Great Job!
Good job!!
Nice setup. May be late for the giveaway but that is ok. Thanks for the ideas on using the GG app in a very complete setup. Be a long time for me to have something like yours but the GG app is great for simplifying access to needed bindings.
I use game glass on 2- 8" tablets. Spent 20 bucks on the Star Citizen shards and use the 2 free slots for DCS aircraft. It just works.
you are insane, but I love it! =) Keep up the good work. Regards from Sweden
Cool simpit you have there. One of these days I will have mine up and running too. Star citizen is a lot of fun when you can actually play it :) I played around with game glass a few years ago, but my tablets are out of date now and I cant use them :(
Amazing job as always ! I myself am a lot into DCS and Star citizen and personally would love an helios like app or even a per ship style gui in gameglass. SC's api is yet to be seen ;( . Best hope for your future flights !
Nice Work!
Greetings from Germany
Would love an extra room to build something similar, but mostly need the skills to make it happen. :)
Hi, i like you work. Greatings from Dominican Republic.
Very interesting solution! As a fan of touchscreen monitors (i.e. non-tablets) in my own setup, I didn't think that GameGlass was compatible with secondary monitors in a Windows setup. Has that change recently?
This limitation was part of the reason I decided to go down the road of adding Elgato Stream Decks and other button boxes to my setup for other games while still using Helios for DCS.
Fantastic video, as always. I always enjoy seeing other people's labors of love and you do a fantastic job documenting your efforts!
I think it needs to be ran from an external computer, though a Raspberry Pi would probably cut it.
This is really awesome. Found your channel while looking for dual stick setups, and it continuously blows me away! Question: do you always prefer to have your right stick center mounted? I find I prefer mine evenly set before each arm in a natural resting position.
I had the right stick on right side in my previous cockpit. I'd say I prefer this a bit more, but mostly because I'm going to be using this as a Hornet cockpit for DCS too.
Really cool setup! Hopefully, it will at one point be possible to get feedback from the game as well (e.g. the mobiglass always shows the current status of the landing gear, quantum spool, etc.)
Yeah, there has been talks about APIs but no official word from CIG.
I really love your videos and i think you have a absolute dream setup! I used game glass for a while now but my tablet has broken a past month ago and I don't wan't to pay $100+ to buy a new one only for a app, so I hope I can find any cheap alternative. An I think the touch screen is a awesome idea!
Your cockpit looks marvellous, and very functional. It would be great if gameglass could run scripts as i use voice attack to change button images for the power triangle in another program i use on my ipad, it would be great to be able to do that in GG and it would look sweet on your new tablet. Very well done, cant wait for your next video.
Nice! 👍
Noice! I think you should shutdown that permanently mounted middle-display under the touchscreen, atleast on video it seems to show some extra light bleed.
Nice rig.
Hey ya, you shuold descripe what you are measuring and why, its always interesting to hear what is going in your head during planning process
Sure, good point. I'm trying to find a middle way with not talking enough and talking too much. :D Perhaps here's few things I should have explained better.
Been following your channel for months and I have watched and liked them. Left a few comments here and there. Love your setups and iterative approach to 'perfecting' it. Have twin four year old girls who watch your videos with me and love to watch me gaming, too. Hehe I am in the planning stages for my own simpit/work setup. (And two simpler smaller simpits for them, when the twinlings get older and want to play). Hoping I win this, as I would love to be able to add that small touchscreen to my current (and future setup). In response to your feedback request, my own plans involve measuring both of my arm's reach and building everything based on those two inner hemispheres - so I can work everything without having to lean forward. Not sure if everything is arranged that way or not in your current setup. Thanks for the great content and keep being awesome!
I think I might have to lean a bit for some stuff. But the seat is adjustable so I can move it to good position.
like the setup, it would be interesting seeing it with DCS
Yeah, I've had few month break from trying to learn DCS recently. Just not enought time.
But I have Winwing F-18 hotas waiting (picked it up 2nd hand) so I think I have a video of setting it up coming during this summer. Just need to figure out how to make changing the joystick easier.
Excellent setup. Have you ever considered a cover or top that you could close over you (similar to closing the Gladius hatch). It would eliminate outside distractions and could completely immerse you?
It would be fun, but currently I’m planning adding projectors there, so I probably wouldn’t have time.
well done. would prefer the small tablet a bit higher. would be nice to test gameglass on a bigger screen.
I love this setup, did you build the whole thing?
Yes, I actually have a full series of the build here: ruclips.net/p/PL0GOAd0vMWskZc0Z4FqXl63UigtUwjFu5
Im actually looking for a long thin tablet at the moment that can handle Game Glass so I can have under my middle monitor horizontally
your setup is one of my favorites for star citizen. but a recommendation for the monitor underneath the touch screen is to maybe put some statuses on the sides if that makes sense. maybe like shield health and other things on the right side of the larger monitor. just an idea to get some more use out of it! great video btw
Yeah, hopefully we'll get APIs some day, so it would be really amazing that way.
@@UndeadParrot hopefully!
Someone could try to read the games memory and make one (but this is essentially hacking, so the anti-cheat may be annoying to work around)
Have you installed/considered a rumble pad for the chair for extra immersion? Like a Crowson Tactile Motion Actuator, I believe they work on the same freq as the sub
Yes, I think that's one of my future upgrades. Biggest issue is that there are so many items on that list. :D
Woww so cool
Imagine this guy in September for Starfield 😊
I'm actually not expecting too much from Starfield's space combat parts. But I'll try it out naturally.
Really like what your doing! Got a new 49" Samsung G9 Neo that I hope I with time can build something like you do. Great inspiration my man :D Agreed ->Keep it up! Cheers!
Thanks! G9 is nice, I had the older one ( personally prefer the larger screen area of 32" x 3 myself but that's just a matter of taste).
@@UndeadParrot Never seen that in real life so I would not know, got it as a gift from my wife and the upgrade from my old normal 27" 144Hz to this Dual Quad HD 5120 x 1440 vid 240 Hz beast have changed my life :) The older one can't really match this one at all when you use it you will see it, it's what I have and I am beond words happy with it. But I would really like to try a 32" x 3 setup if I got the chance, for sure. I have not used my VR-headset one single time after I got this one. It have changed my gaming-life forever. Star Citizen is looking and feel's so good n real it's mindblowing. A second joystick and pedals, head and eyetracking is next on my "have to get asap" list now. I am sooo hooked at the moment I'm online most of the time last few week's. To bad the 3.18 live is what it is but we can only hope it get's better today I guess :)
Very inpressning with how you can switch out and re-model part's smooth n easy in your pit, I looked a bit more on your clip's n yeh wow, nice job man!
That GameGlass I have to look in to as well. Look's amazing!
Try out the new Neo if you get the chance.
