That transom will not last at all. The wood will soak up all the resin and the Fiberglas will separate. As well as the transom is soft wood looking like pine. Disaster looking to happen.

I used pine plywood on my 13’ gheenoe transom build with epoxy resin and 4 layers of 17oz cloth. 7 yrs ago. Still solid as a new one. Hundreds of hours later.

It would’ve been superior construction if they used Coosa board rather than wood for the transom.

Minus the cost of the engine how much did it cost materials and labor.
I would love to buy a panga.but there so expensive.
