A little disappointed with the Subaru. Normally an ACT4 would pass the single wheel traction tests, but this time the transfer case was simple viscous center diff (standard on all MT models) possibly with open front and rear diffs...... Meanwhile the Volvo's Haldex might have passed all tests, but just barely. Overall performance seems iffy though IMHO.
Mogę kiedyś podjechać swoim na test. Jeśli by było zapotrzebowanie. Volvo XC90 2.5t benzyna w manualu ze sprawnym AWD i DSTC. Przez rok jeździłem z błędem kontroli, a teraz działa.
В Subaru для выезда из таких ситуаций нужен "полный газ". Если нажимать газ плавно, то VDC будет срезать момент. Так что перед тестами нужно читать инструкцию по эксплуатации.
@@propellershaft34 There's more than enough throttle used in this test, also with ESP off (no power cut). This model (VCD) can't pass the tests on three rollers. Those with ACT-4 would probably pass.

This Volvo did brilliantly, even better than many SUV’s
I think they did great. This is the safest cobnfiguration for on-road cars. Closed diffs are good for off-roaders or rally cars.
Closed Diff? You mean locking Diff right

Something strange, usually Subaru passed all condition, at list model last 4 year's.
A roller test of the Renegade/Compass 4xe would be interesting

Subaru Tribecas are somewhat rare in the US, they didn't sell very well so there's not too many around. Cheers man
