How To Fix An LG TV With Sound But No Picture:
If your LG TV has sound but no picture, you need to soft reset it. Unplug the television and wait a minute. While the TV is unplugged, be sure to press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. After the minute is complete, plug the LG TV back in, and the picture should show!
Test The Backlight
If you’re still hearing audio without any picture from your television, it may be an issue with one of the LED backlights or power strips.
To find out if this is the case, turn your television on and follow these instructions.
You want to grab a flashlight (the one on your phone is fine) and shine it close to the TVs screen.
If you see a dark image, it means your screen is on but the backlight is broken which makes it look like a black screen.
