It’s not amazing really they know when the game is lost so they don’t go through the agony of prolonging it many players on line are different even ones that should know they have zero chance to win will continue playing some people just lose a piece and resign make a blunder and resign The GMs know better for most part
Sagar is always fun to listen to. I heard him commentate a Vishy-Magnus game where Magnus under-promoted to a knight and remember him commentating. Really good for anyone interested.
I saw a Game with Sagar commentating recently it was Magnus against 15 year old Nordibek Magnus Blundered a pawn and was totally pissed the Game ended in a draw though it was just recently on Chess India
You have really stepped it up with the metaphors... "the Debt Collector, coming to smash in the door" is a great one. I can practically see the late Dave Courtney in his younger days at a strung-out punter's doorstep for the 500 quid he lost on the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Ascot. And before that you were not afraid to divide the English-speaking world by using "tender as a *filet* steak, cooked rare." Regardless of one's pronunciation, the Comedy unites us all.
Seems like he was playing for a draw instead of actually winning ridiculous he missed that first move James pointed out I probably would’ve spotted it myself had I been playing at that point
Two former world champions in a slugfest with equal opportunities of landing the killer blow or blundering the game away. In the end, the game is lost on the last missed opportunity.
See, this is why I love chess videos. I've been thinking about finishing up my PhD, but I wasn't sure if I should write my dissertation on ornithomania or bird-related delusional disorders. I'm still on the fence, but I plan to get in touch with both Magnus and Anand to ask them for guidance.
Strange hearing you call Magnus a former World Champion when he is the reigning Rapid and Blitz World Champion. Also the plural tempi is mostly used in the musical and chess worlds.
"We don't want to go too deep into the rabbit hole - but this was a winning move".... hmmm, after d6 it's really hard to see the "obvious" win for Black.
Kramnik should simply challenge these "cheaters" to an over-the-board contest. Beef up the security to this event so that cheating is nigh impossible and that would be the correct environment to assess his opponent's true strength. Throwing wild accusations of cheating with only an unusual move to go on is immature ad irresponsible and simply spells narcissism and egotism. Come on Kramnik, do better!
Playing on line can be tough competition maybe play people with only similar rating or even slightly below yours it’s said playing tougher players makes you play harder but there’s no fun in always losing have fun instead
@@epicchess2021 I'm not fresh. I'm here from the beginning.. Keep going brother, since you soften the "boringness" or Chess with your beautiful sense of humour.
Can’t believe he missed the two winning chances he was given in the endgame they must’ve been really hard to spot of course I didn’t see them but Vishy should’ve seemed like he was satisfied with trying to draw Ridiculous Once Magnus got a foot in the door he yanked it right open Thanks for the Game James 😅♟️
"Queen E2, hits the knight.Vishy notices, he's a five time world champion!" 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Never fails to entertain. The beauty of this joke is anyone who is decent player will noticed the threat
it was hilarious ye :D
It always amazes me how quickly they calculate and resign.

Sagar Shah is a gem of a man. 62k subscribers! Keep it going brother!
Thanks man
Thanks man
Sagar Shah reminds me of the great Bill McLaren, a Scottish rugby commentator from the 70's & 80's

Absolute blunderfest :D

Thanks a lot! Ah yeah pronunciation always tricky at times! Certain words
That Malcolm in the middle clip though👌
Nice game which ended with a 'simple' forktown, time pressure does something even to world masters, thanks for uploading
dude, huge fan of your hilarious commentary, subscribed!
Haha thanks very much appreciate it
That's not as much magnus playing well and his opponent making back to back howlers when in a position of strength.
Seems like he was playing for a draw instead of actually winning ridiculous he missed that first move James pointed out I probably would’ve spotted it myself had I been playing at that point
I don't think I could beat either of them
@@GB-ez6ge no I don’t think any of us can 😅
a very exciting commentary of a fine attacking game. thanks James.

Vishy seemed to playing for the Draw when he actually had two golden opportunities to win but missed the moves
Move order is so important for these top guys. That's why I stay at 900 elo.
You are observing, sure, you will improve.
I was not ready for the Sagar Shah's voice in the beginning 🤣😂
After this game he named his next boat “Vichy on the rocks”
Haha
What a game! ... and commentary!
No way vichy on the rocks was enough for Vishy to get over disappointment this time
I did saw the cannon Vishi missed! Thanks for the channel: the best of chess worldwide! Warmly, Ronaldo
Nice! And thanks Ronaldo

thanks very much!
Had me laughing out loud a few times. Great video
Haha thanks a lot glad you enjoyed
7:22 “this are hotting up” this new grammar?😂
That's how they say it in the UK.
He said 'things are hotting up', perfectly good in the UK

Amazing how many blunders world champions make in this game 😂
WOW! That's just a God mode move!
Luck and skills almost always go together.
Let’s get Kramniks opinion on this matter 🧐🧐
Vishy is such noob, plays worse then me.
he has 1:00 more on clock, and play moves within 2 seconds, against Magnus. Deserved loss. Noob
lol poor Vishy
Pretty insane lines at the end. My goodness. Rh6?!
I saw that tactic! Man bites dog every now and then 🙂
i saw the Rh6 but didnt saw the continuation after the Qe1 :D
Thanks for tutorial james no need to buy old school chess book or go anywhere else on the internet
thanks very much!
Anand.....TATA for now.
Just another subscriber for you. Like your style.
Thanks a lot appreciate it!
Absolutely fantastic

I've said since day one epic Chess videos leave me as tender as a fillet steak, cooked rare
😂
I expect next game to be analized in the style of WWE!
Great game!
Chess Pundit ??
The bad boy of generic comments is back.
tempi?
Yeah probably best to google it with chess context
Not interesting in the kind of Kramnik in the cheating way. 😂😂
When did Magnus Carlson become Chinese?
I don’t follow sorry lol
Who the f.. is Carlson?
@@osgubben: I think he’s one of the world chess champions right now.
