Hi Gary, that was another great MM, as another viewer said, nice to see the Kiwi decals, and your Rotodyne looked absolutely fantastic, bedt regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Used the Airfix affiliate link. I’ve ordered the new Chinook kit as I wanted to make use of my Hornby hobby points and the Airfix collectors club discount. Love your channel.
Another cracking video and the best way to start the week. Good luck with the interview tomorrow. I'd love to ask ICM if they'd consider making a DENNIS Bin Lorry
Truly a pleasant surprise seeing the RNZAF decals sheet. Our army boys did have a habit of 'borrowing' enemy equipment during WW2, so now the air force can perhaps do the same.
I seriously doubt that the Horton Bomber version would have been that effective. Remember that Northrop developed the XB-35 and then the YRB-49 and in the end they were not put into mass production because the technology, particularly related to controls and the need for a stable bombing platform, was too immature. That’s how the USAF ended up with the B-36 instead. It took nearly 50 years before fly-by-wire and digital flight controls culminated in the B-2 Spirit. But even that was somehow an operational prototype with only 21 built. Another 30-odd years later and there’s finally a mass produced flying wing bomber, the B-21 Raider. There’s never been an operational flying wing fighter, suggesting that the Ho 229 was more of a developmental dead end than the bomber concepts.
Good Morning Gary, I watch a lot of your videos which are very informative and helpful. May I ask do you have any spare 1/72 Spitfire Mk2 or Mk5 complete canopy’s. I have 3 PM kits which I am upgrading and wish to replace the canopy’s. Obviously I would purchase them from with postage costs. Kindest Regards Nick.
Revell does make a 1/72nd scale Horton 229. While the armament is fictional, the plane never was armed like that. The real Horton 229 is in the collection of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Last I heard, it was at the facilities at Udvar Hazy at Dullas International Airport. I saw it years ago in storage at the Paul A. Garber facility in Silver Hills Maryland.
Do love MM and the news and views, those flying wings are interesting builds well done with a great show as always 👍

Cheers Joe. Maybe Miniart are the people for the bin lorry? They would do the figures as well and also various styles of rubbish bin.
The Rotodyne turned out really well!
Love what you did with the Rotodyne kit Gary and looking forward to you building the Horton kits as I have both in my stash.
What an intro! 😅👍 MM is the perfect start to the week and, by chance and by virtue of the Gregorian Calendar, the month

Hi Nick, sadly I don't mate. Try asking through Gary's Friends Stuff on Facebook as there might be someone there who can help?
I have just started the Airfix Fairy Gannet. Is there a part 2 build video?
Not yet, it's a bit stuck in the production pipeline...
@@garys_stuff it is a really nicely designed kit so far
Are you heading to the Scale Model South this weekend Gary?
I will try to - lots of things getting oil the way but you never know!
The revell Horton is 1/48 , the other is 1/72 from what I saw ....

The Revell Horton was also re-issued by Academy
Hey Gary , how’s your stuff?
Well the weather isn't much to smile about in Germany...
First comment. Do I win a prize?
Yeah...a Starfix kit. ( ;-) )
Depending on where you are in the world - a nap! 😊
