Hi Dave what is the benefit of using the access controler unit and not just having everything connected to the Poe and local network + perhaps indoor station and this way you can control it via the station and HikConnect app? Also would there be benefit of connecting card reader or face recognition unit to a NVR? Or what is the best way how to have these connected to the system? Cheers
there are various benefits, centralised cabling for legacy sites / new sites, battery backup from panel , neater installation etc , flexibility , but then the POE / Terminal units are also very powerful and can provide a different way also , I wouldn’t / cant add the terminals to the NVR as such , we have some IOT in the I series NVRS to take basic events from the access control
Hello. Any idea why card reader (DS-K1107A), connected to a DS-K2602-G controller will not read HID Proximity 1346 ProxKey III H10301 key fobs? The reader does not even detect the key fob, it does not beep. The reader is set to Wiegand 26 and is able to register other card types. Hikvision tech support were unable to figure it out. Thank you.
Is there a way have a card hold open a door until the card is presented again to lock it? This seems like a pretty basic function but I cannot figure out how to get it to do this.
some are thermal and by down powering and repower of the ACU , this will reset them , and there is also a main PSU board behind the ACU control board 😊
Thanks, also my bgu and push button take 12volts aswell as the hik mifare reader needs 12volts, i dont think the panel is strong enough to give 12volts out to all 3 devices? Would this be possible? I can get reader on its own or bgu and push button and reader not working
Oh, the one who was helped by urgent assistance with accessing an online expert and we can do the settings only. The machines work very well just to program the package.
Hi, can i manage a big site like 15 or 20 Door with multiple box like this, they interract together? i mean do I have to program the card in each controller, or everything is grouped into a single system
guys help me up, i have set all my access control devices and they have been working well since the installation. there was some power interruption but now all devices are only coming on the bell sign, the finger impression is not working, the key pad is also not working and the display screen is off completely. AC is now restored but there is no change and all the doors are locked. kindly assist what can i do to reset them. its a time and attendance access control, is not running with software, its on hardware only
Thanks for this video. I am strugling with adding Mifare cards. I have a card reader with keypad connected via Wiegand. I can't use the card reader to enroll new cards using IVMS, but the keypad from the card reader is working fine. Any tips?
Hi Dave great video, just curious if the rs485 readers and keypads from the hikvision modular intercom is compatible with the access control panel, just wondering for a clean install
Is it possible to integrate this with a video intercom module? The use case I want to implement is a video intercom that also has the ability to unlock doors with figerprint readers, and should be able to control 2 different doors.
they sit inside the same software but don’t interact on that integrated level as one is access control , the other video intercom with limited access control function sorry
This may not be the correct way haha but we use the Honeywell NetAXS controller and just installed 2 Hikvision video intercoms. We wired from the outdoor camera/doorbell lock outputs to the PTE button wires at the door in series. We also wired into the magnetic door contact. This way the video intercom systems can verify when the door has been opened and closed. Works great
I have 13 of the facial terminals, is there a way to email me the access logs of each day. I want to get an email at midnight with all the access control authentications for the day.

One of the biggest problems is that you dont have the option to back up the information and configuration from the device, like (Linkage configuration or device parameters).
So if you have an issue in a building with multiple customisations for example, and you need to do a factory reset you are force to manuali charge all the parameters again. Thanks for the video.
I was curious about them using a double pole breaker in replace of a fuse. Had look a picture online and zoomed in on the breaker all the pictures I seen had 60 or 63a breakers in them. I could be wrong but I wouldn't think this is not acceptable by the electrical standards considering the load is between 50 and a 100 watts depending on which model your using. Even if your installing a fuses outlet beside the controller. Probably should be using smallest amp double pole breaker which I think is a 6amp. Then a 6 or 10amp fuse in you outlet. Considering the load is 100watts which is about 0.5 amps. Nothing to do with DVS of course but maybe hikvision should revise it.
The delay is rather uncomfortable - using an IPCAM to broadcast is the cause and rather clunky. Can you not get a normal USB HD camera with microphone, mounted on a simple desk tripod that you can use for these presentations.
Popolou , it is very rare I have to do this method , mostly its all software or Web based, but thanks for the Feedback its something we are looking to get anyway

Had a spare hour so had my lunch while watching. Very good vid. Thanks Dave.
Hi DVS Team, you guys are doing great. This video was really helpful..Thanks
A very detailed video to develop understanding for users and tech people. Thanks.
Thank you kindly

Hi, thanks for the video. Communication between controllers is made only via lan or can be used rs485 ?
Where is the fuse go? I just shorted the power 12v and gnd for my bgu and push button and blew the fuse struggling to find it ?

use IVMS-4200 or HIK-Central to bring them into 1 system 😊

the RS-485 on intercoms is for the 2nd intercom reader and not the connection to the panel but they can all exist in the same VMS system
What is the difference between k2600 and k2600g did they update any functionality or just hardware revision upgrade?

halo bro, Access door seri DS-k2604T can connect to 4 door in one access door and create absensi ?
I have a HIK vision intercom/reader all in one unit. I’ve added this but can’t see where/how to link the unit to a door
what model is this unit ?
Can I make a Rex motion disengage a maglock in the hikvision system?
Yes each lock / door has a dedicated request to exit terminal

If you use HIK-Central you can setup custom reporting on that yes 😊
@@DVSLTD Pitty, so you need to use the paid software?
Is there a way to validate the user, for example the face recognition result, via an external API, before opening the door?
do you guys have ever done the configuration setting via coding? need help
hi david do u have a diagram of hikvision door access controller

@@DVSLTD thanks bro for helping
Push button, reader, sliding door how to do the connection
Is there a way to access it remotely?
Via 4200 or ISUP on HIK-Central
Interesting
What if you don't have an active activate button, it's greyed out
then its already been activated by the looks , try 12345 as that was the old password for the units
@@DVSLTD thansk David yes my business partner had already activated it prior to this post thanks again and great vids
