2024 Luxury MPV from Volvo EM90

Volvo has unveiled a van in the luxury segment. The Volvo EM90 (2024) is not an SUV alternative, but competes with the luxury sedans à la S-Class. The brand wants to use the van to open up new target groups in the global automotive market. One of the most important countries here is China, where the EM90 is also to be introduced first. So it is hardly surprising that the basis will probably be the 5.21 m long Geely Group brother Zeekr 009, which celebrated its market launch in China at the beginning of 2023. This is a stylistically striking, extravagantly styled van on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform. The Zeekr 009 starts at around 70,000 euros. The Volvo EM90 (2024) is also likely to cost around this shoot, as Zeekr is also a so-called premium brand.
