I daily a E34 520i M50B20 in germany, its in more or less rough visual shape but i replaced the whole supsension last year, so she drives quite well! Has 245k km (152k miles)

I daily my project brokatrot e34 (524 td) from 1990 swapped to m50b20 manual. Exterior and interior is rough but original (interior is white/gray with white leather comfort seats) Don’t drive it in the salt and snow otherwise all the time🙂

Well if you are moving to Mexico and having your cars to wrench on during your working accommodations would be epic. I have a place in Ensenada Mexico that is about a 3 hour drive from you. Trade straight across for your ride. No rent for two years and you cough up the keys after your two year stay. It’s about 12 minutes to the water . Nature to the fullest . I’m currently building a 2500 sq foot shop to wrench on my 2002 and a few other toys I have. Let me know
I skipped work today 😂, strained neck couldve worked through it, the 540 imo is the ultimate "working man" e34, yeah theres the m5 but those things not where they used to be in owning costs, here in eastern europe we make due with 520, tds s, hopefully Ill build my m50b30 stroker.
i agree man overall and great comfortable car, especially when the ac works. no reason not to drive unless gas is to pricey my M5 I LOVE but only like to drive it a couple days of the week cause its to rowdy, makes me wanna drive fast alot. i would love a tds here in the states maybe swap a m57 in there thats a common thing right ?

Anyway i got myself a 520i. Yes, slow. But best sound and i like to cruize more than race although i could drive full speed legally on on our autobahn. Sometimes i do. Interior is red leather, wich is rare. Red was more a colour in the US, old street ships and such. I try to take care of this car, dry it after rain rides and a good wash underneath. btw i had same experience with the cops the other day. they just wanted to talk about old bmw's. hahhaa hi from southern germany.
