I absolutely love the fact that in perhaps the greatest Victorian Gothic novel of all time, the character that delivers the killing blow to Dracula, is a wealthy Cowboy from Texas! I don't think Bram Stoker ever visited the United States
I remember reading about people in england complaining "Dracula" was a catholic pamphlet because of how much importance catholic symbolism had. I don't see how some people can argue catholisms isn't in a way involved in the story.
