All the characters, the whole world, the music.. it only was a small gameboy screen, but to me it felt so real. I was the same way. Second to Legend of Zelda, Golden Sun was my other world. That game sparked so much creativity that has been the basis inspiration of most of my work to this day. Jailbreaking a 3DS, preferably the new one, you can use a tool to convert the GBA Rom into a file that the 3DS's built in Virtual Console can utilize. I've replayed The Lost Age recently as I haven't played the series on a genuine Nintendo Console since the cartridge copy of the original, on my original DS. Beat TLA in 35 hours with all Djinn and summons. Was a refreshing playthrough.
@Eonasdan yeah but you dont get tactile feedback with those kind of buttons, and it makes it annoying to play...I've got a couple emulators on my phone,but I cant do it without real buttons

Sorry for the not so fancy look of the video, but i finally can brought this to the channel, the full soundtrack of Golden Sun and Golden Sun the Lost Age remaked, it took me 1 month of work without rest doing this, every single song in the games it's here except very short iterations from some themes, i worked hard on every single track to make the best version possible of it while retaining the spirit of the original soundtrack, i'll try to add some time markers later, happy xmas!

Oh yes. Golden Sun and The Lost Age are what has to be considered the best RPG duo that the GBA library had to offer. I played the hell out of this and The Lost Age as a kid.
2001 was a magical year for fantasy entertainment. Lord of the Rings movie trilogy started and this game came out on gba. Together, they shaped my childhood.
@@TheSiris I'd say OoT and GS aren't really competing with each other as they're so fundamentally different. The only thing one could go into a heated argument about would be which game had the superior music, but that's a battle between titans. (Probably ends up being gerudo valley / kokiri forest vs elemental stars / Venus lighthouse or sth) Oot had a minimalistic story (just enough to get the point and severity across, just plain black and white) while Gs had a more complex (but still very understandable) story with alot of gray morals. (Considering gray area weren't much of a thing back then, it was huge) Graphics are hardly comparable as one was pixel-art and one were models, funnily enough both aged surprisingly well. Gameplay is wildly different as well. To be honest i wouldn't be able to say which is overall and objectively the better game as they are that different from each other. OoT has the thing going nowadays that it's easily randomize-able and thus creates practically endless replay-value while GS can be replayed with different Djinn-compositions but that's about it.
It's 2021 now and my heart still beats fast whenever i hear Golden Sun OST. What a masterpiece! How's it going, my fellow Adepts? Really miss the good old days adventured in Weyard!!! However, Merry Christmas everyone ☺

I still remember cosplaying as Ivan back in elementary school. Nobody knew who I was, but I was so damn happy with how it turned out. I wish I had pictures. Just hearing this OST brings tears to my eyes because it meant so much to me as a kid. I truly hope that they bring it back to the Switch era.

It's 2020 happy new year to everyone. My most favorite RPG game ever, everything is memory the story the character and the music. Suddenly think of this series of the game and go find the soundtrack, feels old man almost 20 years old series. This soundtrack brings me back to my childhood, appreciate the upload of OST. I loved these stories so dearly and the music. They actually helped to form my personality and inspired me and stayed with me for all these years since. They hold a special place in my heart and will always be among my most loved tales and soundtracks. I'm going to learn some of the tracks on my Ocarina and Kalimba! The games deserve full blown super remakes and more sequels WITH the original characters as the leads! But there was something so awesome about the Gameboy's that just hasn't been captured since by any other systems, even the switch.

I love golden sun, back in the GBA days. Alot of people hate this game because of the dialogue length, but since the storyline is so huge and full of detail there had to be some long dialogue but after that in the first one the game gets better and better clear into the second one. I wish they would port this over to the nintendo switch. Best RPG of all time.

Besides the Pokémon GBA games, this game is a definition of my childhood, hands down, the GS 1&2 will forever stay in my heart!!!... it’s a pity that the Dark Dawn ending is not finished and overall the difficulty is too easy..... my favorite tracks: Izumo, Aqua Rock, Gaia Rock, Ruins of Lemuria and all four elemental lighthouses... I really enjoyed every track! Kudos to you!

Oh my goodness, this is so amazing I cannot even find the words to do what this compilation is making me feel justice. It's been over 20 years ago when I received Golden Sun as a present from my aunt and till this day, this game still resonates deeply within me. GS scores major points in just the soundtrack alone and you did a spectacular job covering each track! I mostly used Spitfire Libraries and Omnisphere 2 for the synths.

Theres an orchestra that did a live playthrough of the Elemental Stars, and it just took me away. And it was done recently, 2018 I think.
It's my ringtone for a reason...other than the fact that I love Golden Sun. I also have the "selection" sound effect as my notification sound.

I used to plug my headphones into my Gameboy Advance and listen to Golden Sun's menu music on my walk home from school... one of the best and most underrated RPG soundtracks ever!
When a Gba game's soundtrack and world building surpasses many AAA games that we have today. Motoi Sakuraba and Takahashi brothers were truly geniuses.
Still one of my favourite RPG's of all time. Man, nostalgia hit me so hard when I stumbled upon this video...

I know it's not likely to happen in my life time. But I would love to see a full remaster of all games and a finale to the story. It's so heart-warming to see my favorite series of all time to still have some recognition that's slightly recent.
If only there was a collective fan base since I do see many small communities that may or may not be current anymore.

Suddenly think of this series of the game and go find the soundtrack, feels old man almost 20 years old series. This soundtrack brings me back to my childhood, appreciate the upload of OST.

I loved these stories so dearly and the music. They actually helped to form my personality and inspired me and stayed with me for all these years since. They hold a special place in my heart and will always be among my most loved tales and soundtracks. I'm going to learn some of the tracks on my Ocarina and Kalimba! The games deserve full blown super remakes and more sequels WITH the original characters as the leads! But there was something so awesome about the Gameboy's that just hasn't been captured since by any other systems, even the switch.
Thanks for this amazing Christmas present! I have always believed that Golden Sun has one of the best soundtracks in all of gaming, and you have done a better job than anybody on Earth in making it shine as brightly as possible. I was immediately floored by the main theme the second I hit the play button on this. THANK YOU!

I love golden sun, back in the GBA days. Alot of people hate this game because of the dialogue length, but since the storyline is so huge and full of detail there had to be some long dialogue but after that in the first one the game gets better and better clear into the second one. I wish they would port this over to the nintendo switch. Best RPG of all time.
never forgotten. Legendary works in my opinion, played them originally at least 15 years ago, many games since, would still put them high on a list, world changing

This is probably the best Christmas gift we could get. To bad I might not listen to this non-stop and listen to something else. But still, Golden Sun for life! To bad there aren't more games in the series, but that doesn't mean it'll always be a place in our hearts.

Besides the Pokémon GBA games, this game is a definition of my childhood, hands down, the GS 1&2 will forever stay in my heart!!!... it’s a pity that the Dark Dawn ending is not finished and overall the difficulty is too easy..... my favorite tracks: Izumo, Aqua Rock, Gaia Rock, Ruins of Lemuria and all four elemental lighthouses... I really enjoyed every track! Kudos to you!

Just the fact that this was made so long after the release of the games is a testament to how great they were! Put Isaac in smash! Golden Sun and Golden Sun The Lost Age will always be my favorite all time GBA game ever. I’m happy a lot dedicated fans still love franchise even me too. Hoping an remaster for both game will be childhood dream come true knowing how many times I play both games. To me that catch my ears in video game are OST and Golden Sun music are masterpiece that mostly fans don’t pay attention to it even play through. When I see old console like GBA or GBASP only game come in mind are both Golden Sun game.

Oh my goodness, this is so amazing I cannot even find the words to do what this compilation is making me feel justice. It's been over 20 years ago when I received Golden Sun as a present from my aunt and till this day, this game still resonates deeply within me. GS scores major points in just the soundtrack alone and you did a spectacular job covering each track! Listening to this helped me relive the entire epic adventure again and I cannot thank you enough for the enormous feels!! 🤩🤩🤩
