For people who don't know Yugioh, "Lil-La Rap" is a card from the "Live Twins" archetype, its a deck based on Vtubers. And, "Smoke Grenade of the Thief" is a war crime, as expected of Pekora.

@@luckyjc8702The fact that the card was like 20 years before it even got played proves that Smoke was in fact not a mistake. It’s just easier to ban a 20 something old card that no one really has than it is the new recently printed card that caused the problem.

@@Xuch probably one of the most important cards in modern yugioh as it is a negate you can activate during your opponents turn while its in your hand. in the past some decks just lose to this card (and some still do!) it has essentially become a staple card everyone puts in their deck regardless of what they are playing.

See, this is why Marine says Pekora is unconsciously a lady-killer. She keeps you at a distance, then suddenly does something super sweet out of nowhere.
Context for people who don’t play ygo:
Ash Blossom can negate a draw, a special summon or sending a card to the graveyard. Highly sought after due to how useful this effect is. Went down in price recently (in the west, idk about card prices in Japan) due to the release of a structure deck that contained it as well as a few other good staples (Beware of Traptrix Structure Deck). It still is and will probably forever be an incredibly powerful card that can shut down combos or force opponents into disadvantage. I have a few for my own competitive decks but if anyone gave me this card for free, I would love them for life

Ash Blossom is a goated gift, but I think giving Subaru Ghost Ogre and Snow Rabbit would've been great too since it would fit Pekora perfectly

The last time I've played Yu-gi-oh was probably freshman hs. It was always a battle of interpretations esp. when my playmates and I can write in English but can barely speak it.

The assumption I can understand is since Holo is so closely associated with Bushiroad that it might be an exclusivity agreement and why Niji can get the perm and Cover can't.

at first synchro era Goyo is a beast, i am not surprised if someone says that it was the best synchro monster then they change it so it can only be synchro summoned with Earth tuner...

For non YuGiOh players. The Ash Blossom is a Staple in deck making. There might be 1 or 2 exceptions but almost all decks need 3 copies of Adh Blossom.
What Ash Blossom does is a 'No Fuck You' card that negates certain effects the opponent makes. In modern Yu Gi Oh. Certain OTK combo decks wont even let you have a turn save if you have Ash Blossom in hand to stop their bullshit.
Aaaah, Ash Blossom. Most important card to have in your deck but having Nibiru is haha funneh card to have.
