The attention tip definitely hit me in the forehead! Especially since I have ADHD my attention feels finite! So when I do have the energy and attention capacity I have to dole it out to the most important tasks before my brain is done. I definitely appreciate the kick in the butt! ❤❤
I hate it when people say “we all have the same hours in a day.” The thing is, time isn’t created equal for everyone. Responsibilities are not equal from person to person. Its not a helpful statement, its judgmental. I love your approach in this video. Don’t feel guilty for how you spend your “spare time.” Life it too short to beat yourself up and push yourself to a breaking point all the time.
Yes. We may have the same amount of time as Beyonce but we dont have chefs, maids, nannies, hairstylists, assistants. So we won’t be able to « do » the same things.
@@MsBubu26 Exactly! Some people play all those roles themselves throughout the day. Those are the people that deserve celebrating, not celebrities that have others to do those tasks for them.
I stopped watching you 5 years ago when my daughter was born because I couldn't listen to how organised you were when my life was extremely unpredictable. Now I am back here ready to listen again and so happy that you have children too and give us those amazing advice ❤️ 🙌 💕
I’m happy you’re fine, Thank you for sharing this useful content. I only watch/ listen to productivity videos when I’m eating, driving or falling asleep, so that’s not wasting time, but I began to read in the evenings, too. I don’t like AI voices, I have real people recording the audios I need. When I read something, I take notes to be transformed into ebooks and videos later. I fear I don’t lose time by being at events or parties or helping people but it takes centuries I have the feeling to produce content.
LOVED this video! I, personally, benefit from a lil bit of "tough love" from time to time. Especially when it's coming from an actual place of LOVE, and not judgement. Thank you so much for saying everything you did in this one, Amy. It felt like a big ass hug when you said we're all doin the best we can with what we have. Thank you for this space, community and positivity you spread!
It's like the scout's motto: be prepared. You know unexpected shit will happen, but if you're reasonably prepared in other areas, you'll be able to deal better. If you have healthy snacks in the fridge ready, you won't be as tempted to eat junk, if your home is clean, you won't freak out if someone drops by unexpectedly, if you are hit with a sudden car repair or appliance replacement, you'll be happy you put a little money aside for it, if you've done your Swedish death cleaning/decluttering and you have to move, at least the process will be a lot easier. That way, your focus can stay in the present where it needs to be to deal with the issue.
You're amazing and beautiful! Thank you for these simple ideas. As a single mother and writer, I appreciate that these tips makes our work not so daunting!
🥹 thank you, Amy. I needed to hear that part, "You are doing the best you can with what you know and what you have right now." The last three years have brought so much Life change and I'm constantly pushing to do better. And then every few days I run into a symptom of burn out and I wonder why I can't keep pushing. Didn't expect this from this video, but I really appreciate it.
Assuming we are going to run out of time has been my Biggest peg in my board. It has made such a difference and has been very desirable by my bosses and clients 💎
Got this notification while reading research for a literature review. Lol Don't worry: I'm watching during a coffee break.😂😂😂 Edit: I AM that person that says Beyoncè has the same amount of time in a day. 🤦🏾♀️
Ah! So happy to be back! Who's ready for some time-saving advice?! Which tip did you need the most today? ⬇

I just wanted to say Amy that even though you went to the ER, you look radiant on your second pregnancy. You have that glow.❤❤

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Billie Eilish if she was someone’s mom? You totally do.
Oh wow, I totally see it now that you've said it! Especially with the new hair!
O.m.g. Yes.

Does your newsletter have an audio feature so I can listen to it? 💖🌞🌵😷
Having a baby is worrisome. I went to the doctor or ER a couple times just to be safe.
I can’t find it on the App Store. Is it available for us in the UK? :”)
❤️
Hello 🌅
Pay attention to video editing also.
This is quite low, edit in good style.
Because it is very important in your video.
Agree at heart. 🧅
Definitely yes. 🍒
Yes, video editing is definitely low. 🌰
Is it me or is this playing faster than normal speed? My settings are set to normal yet it seems sped up sometimes.
Congrats on your second pregnancy.
You know when you're wasting time....yes I do....this was the kick up the bum I needed ....thankyou x 🧵🪡👍
