@@EruditeTrucker Oh okay, a week off is a week off I’m not complaining haha, supposed to start orientation on 8-5-24. I’ll be in Des Moines for a week then on a trainer truck for 2 weeks. Definitely looking forward to gettin my own truck but pretty excited to learn the ropes. All I’ve done is 53’ dry van for 2 years and I’m tired of it. I need something more physical and rewarding.
Might be a dumb question but I’ve seen a driver tarp first then strap I thought it was strap first then first does it matter what why u do first or it depends on what your hauling
What’s your address brotha? I’ve got a brand new safety vest l got just before leaving TMC last October and I’m going to send it to you, the one you wear has seen its best days years ago lol!!!!!! Love the videos from you and a couple other TMC guys, keeps me connected since moving to yanking tanks (fuel now). Stay safe. You’re from NC right?
I've made a lot of money wearing that vest. 🦺...😅 I appreciate you watching my content as always. How's that fuel hauling working out? Local work and being home every day has to be great. I have my X endorsement, too. I hear that fuel hauling is lucrative.
@@EruditeTrucker just giving you 💩 about the vest but I do have a new one I don’t use 😉 Fuel hauling is good and I love being home every day, getting paid hourly sure hits different especially when there’s an issue that slows you down………you’re on the clock 🤷🏽♂️ I do miss being on the road tho for sure but not enough to go back……yet. When are they going to get you a newer truck? I loved my 2023 Pete after being in an older one, that Cummins was quiet at night. Also I meant to ask who your FM is. Are his/her initials RK?
Does TMC allow you to have your own "little giant" ladder?
As far as I know, that shouldn't be a problem. I've seen other drivers with small ladders.
I hope you get at least 3-4 days off after being out 21... if not have a great weekend sir
Have you ever participated in the holiday run? Can you save that week off for later?
I have driven the holiday run. To my knowledge, you can not save the week off for later. You have to take it at the specified time that they assign.

@@EruditeTrucker thx bro!! Keep posting such valuable content!!
Is your new winch ratchet a 3/4 or 1 inch with an attachment for the winch or is it a package deal.
It's a 3/4 attachment.

@@EruditeTrucker thanks bro

Generally, we strap the load first. Some shippers will preload and tarp the trailers for us. When that happens, we'll strap last.
@@EruditeTrucker ok thank I’m still new to flatbed been here at TMC 1 month
10-4.
Be careful out there. Take your time, and you'll be fine
