Invaluable resource and wise words. Thank you for putting this on YT. There are many people who make stupid mistakes and then beat themselves up after the fact when they need to realize we are all human and make honest mistakes and try to make amends but are often terrified of the legal process out of ignorance. Thank you again, and for your compassion.

This is so true, and thank you for this video. I myself am guilty of searching the internet and being freaked out by wrong information. This video really helped me.

Lance thank you for your public service on your videos. I am in my 20th year in the military now reserves as a commissioned officer, a public school teacher in Okla, earned 2 Masters' degrees, and 1 bachelors, never been in trouble with the law. I lived down the street from a Tulsa Cop that harassed me for 5 years over another neighbors dogs all while he was off duty and in a different town. To the point he stopped in front of my home in 2018 threatened me to fight. I did not, 14 months later in late 2019, I was charged with "threatening an act of violence" He had doctored a go pro tape claiming I said "oh pig boom" and claimed "formed my hand in the shape of a gun" 2 years later my PI proved via forensics that the tape had been tampered with and broke chain of custody 4 times. Cause was dropped because of McGirt decision before we had a hearing on this, he claimed he was an Indian and Oklahoma didn't have jurisdiction. The Creek Nation and 10th Circuit Feds declined to prosecute. I spent $6k in all for a lie and never got anything because of qualified immunity. Even though it was a misdemeanor my teaching license and military career were on the line. I wish I saw this video back then I had trouble sleeping, and now have PTSD when I see cops and my family avoids getting to know neighbors and we don't tell them what we do for a living. Thank you and God bless you.

You are so right, there is a lot of misconceptions about laws and outcomes, obviously searching for your local legal system, while being very objective and with common sense about the process in general can be a bit more pacifier than not knowing at all. The loint is not to focus on other cases outcomes bcs they all have different facts and elements. But in general all have one in common. Which is police setting up & entrapment as well as civil rights violated.

I feel so guilty on #3. Coz both of our sides especially our parents, are doing their best to guide us and praying that things will get fixed. So i guess its better not to say anything at all to be safe
