Poor aircraft management. Safety is an issue. And also they didn’t pay for the entertainment system and it’s not working. Why did you able to proceed? Becoz you did not press into the film. If u did it, u will find that same error messages would appear. I am HX gold card and CX diamond card member. Honestly, I won’t fly HX anymore even though their ticket is cheaper for business class than CX J class. Safety concerns and on time departure would be my main issue. Entertainment system would be another concerns. BTW, CX regional J class is not a flatbed. However, it’s only used in a short haul flight but not for long haul. I wanna add another point is that the entertainment system for some old CX aircrafts is really slow. However, this is because they provided a great variety of films for customer to select. Ots better than HX provided with NONE entertainment for us. One suggestion for you to avoid slow entertainment system with flatbed J class, is that you can choose the new aircraft during booking. Try to select 359, 351, 77W. Don’t choose 773 and 330 (Becoz some of them are regional J). You will find the speed for entertainment system would be fast and the seat would be a fully flatbed.
To be fair, Cathay Pacific and HK Express also experienced aircraft technical issues. You can take a look of the recent news. I also have another review about CX 351 on my channel :) To be honest, what I pay is what I get. Paying less but having less service is a fair deal.

However, how do these airlines management the aircraft or safety concerns? Hum~ do u know HX even employee part time crew on board? I think no only a “Flatbed” would be an issue. Safety would be much important
