New song cycle celebrates confluence of local classical music and poetry

The Winnipeg Arts Council continues its City of Song celebrations this weekend with a unique collaboration of words and music between the city’s classical music community and one of its most celebrated rock stars. Tenor Aaron Hutton and pianist Lisa Rumpel joined Nolan Kehler in the Classic 107 studios for a conversation about "Too Far to Walk", the new song cycle by Karen Sunabacka with words by John K. Samson, plus a live performance of "Dusk" by Tawnie Olson.
