What joy this group brings to people like me. I play trumpet, and this Calderon fellow is fantastic. He plays with true feeling; as did Greg Stegman and before him Mike Bisner. All three of those cats could blow. I'm from New Orleans and I know the real thing when I hear it.
What wonderful memories this music brings back. It may not be all the same group, but the sound is GREAT! I've danced a million miles to the Four Freshmen!
What other group has lasted for 64 years, and just gotten better and better, preserving the really great ballads and lovesongs? At first viewing at Castle Farms in Cincinnati in the mid-50s, the melodies were so enchanting all the college kids stopped dancing and just relaxed, sitting on the dance floor, enthralled by the remainder of the concert. Unforgettable, but not quite as technically perfect as the recent group. Nothin' line 'em ever!
..."When my life is through, and the angels ask me to recall the thrill of them all, I shall tell them I remember you!" (I miss you, my love, I'll never forget you!)
Just saw these outstanding musicians last week at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center in CA. What a treat! These guys are keeping the faith with the Four Freshmen tradition and their tunes are still impeccable in every sense. This is the real music! The great sounds! The kind that is impossible not to keep your foot from tapping while they're playing.
I love this song -- These musicians are superb -- they kept the great old harmony (and songs) of the original four. Very, very nice, thanks for posting! "I remember you" is a very favorite song of mine -- great tune and I love the lyrics! Great flugelhorn on the interlude.
WOW!! I would have loved to have been at this venue...so many memories, going back to 1957...and then to the night in London when I saw them, on stage in 1961 with "The misty Miss Christie" [June Christie...] what a night that was! These guys are very good...but the ORIGINALS were THE BEST!!
Ralph...I'm just "a kid" compared to you..! We do share so much...with "The Frosh". I live in Australia, now. I am still in contact with an "old" buddy of mine, in the UK...we like to recall the times we'd sing along to The FF, while driving around looking for girls...they liked our harmonising!! Most times, we scored!! Great memories...Thanks for the contact, Ralph!! God bless, buddy...Take it EASY!!

I listen to them every day. Started listening when I was in college in 1956. Fabulous.

It's all you need folks...so fine, so tight, so well done....It is timeless...
How does one comprehend the magic of harmony such as this? These vocal blends transcend time and emotion; be grateful for what we have inherited.

I agree with you John Still, I saw them in person at Lau Yee Chai's Chinese Restaurant in Waikiki Beach in 1956
Very interesting, Robert. I was 20 yo that year...and at almost 78, I still "appreciate" The Frosh". Take it easy, buddy...
As I'm getting 'older', my mathematics are getting worse...I was 18 [!!] in 1956...Forgive an old man, Robert!!
John I am 83 and remembering my buddies and me singing along with their records.

Joan Carollo They are.... this is the newest iteration. --> the4freshmen.com/
I meant Johnny MERCER
The 3 new Freshmen are not nearly as good as these guys or the originals. Thanks Dan and RUclips for the opportunity to listen to some great music.
Is this group still around? Are there any recordings outside of you tube?
Song written by Victor Schertzinger.
These four are as good if not better than the originals!
Have you heard the originals? This group 20 is as good, but not better.
I am surprised to learn that Vin Diesel is the drummer of the Four Freshmen. Hehehe. Joke only.
I remember you
You're the one who made my dreams come true
A few kisses ago
I remember you
You're the one who said "I love you, too"
Yes, I do, didn't you know?
I remember, too, a distant bell and stars that fell
Like the rain out of the blue
When my life is through
And the angels ask me to recall
The thrill of it all
Then I will tell them I remember you
I remember, too, a distant bell and stars that fell
Just like the rain out of the blue
When my life is through
And the angels ask me to recall
The thrill of it all
Then I will tell them I remember, tell them I remember
Tell them I remember you
