I'd have to agree. Don't shake your trumpet. Also, graduate your vibrato more throughout the length of each note. It adds more color, variety, and sounds more professional. Even though this is only high school, as a trumpet, you must always (and confidently) remember, it's "all show, no go".

Use a natural vibrato with ur lips it doesn't sound as a good trying shake the valves
