I want to open a pack of one of every set, doesn't have to be 1st edition, just one of each all in one sitting. My other goal (which is a lot easier) is to collect one of every pokémon, doesn't matter which set it's from, just at least one of every pokémon rare or lower (no gx, ex, or art rares)

My first 2 packs I bought the day 1st edition jungle was released, one pack 1st ed. Jungle, one pack Base set unlimited. My first holo was 1st Jungle Jolteon which I still have. Those sets are my favorite along with many other Wizards era sets.

I didnt grow up with these because I was too young, but this is easily one of the most captivating and fun “set of sets” to get your hands on!
