I've always wondered what the Charity shops over in the UK looked like and they almost look like the Goodwills here in the states but your Charity shops are cleaner where the Goodwills here are old and dirty.
It's like that alot here also we just had a lucky streak for once :) hearing the chap talk about having mega drive games that went to Ebay made me cry a little lol
Those technics mini stacks used to be 100s about 20 years ago. Iv seen them on local sale pages for 30 these days. It still supprised me they're that cheap. The same stack system did the rounds on my estate selling between friends and dealers as everyone used it as collateral for when they wented a bit of weed on a skint day lol
Oof the nostalgia with that Spiderman 2 game is real. If I was out with you 3 I'd be happy just to have too that one home. Proper loved those games back in the day.

Ok i know im two months late but a tip about the ymca charity shop- i worked there for a bit once and they are up for a haggle... Not too much obviously but theyll be happy to take a couple of quid off your items- especially if you have a few or someting that costs a bit more than other things they have in the shop!
Great PS1 pickup if you are in the charity shops at the right time you can find some great stuff. Found a Gamecube bundle a couple of weeks ago 20 games for £25 with all the resident evil games and simpsons games in the bundle, found nothing since.
It's pretty rare to this much cool stuff but always good when it happens. The last charity shop video before this was ages ago so shows how often it happens lol
Great video again, Kevin! I did another charity shop run down in Plymouth at the weekend and picked up some ds games for £2 each, including a Prof Layton title still factory sealed! I scored a massive pickup yesterday, though...i was talking to a work colleague about retro games and she's given me an Xbox original console, 2 pads, wires and a big folder full of copied discs (over 100, I'd guess)...for free! She was going to take it to the tip, but it looks in good nick, once I dust it off! Looking forward to the next one!

They are super cheap to buy I find and the games are very very cheap. I got one from the carboot ages ago but moved it on as I didnt enjoy it. It's possible to be at a charity shop but Ebay would prob be the best bet sadly

Normally they are on each sunday weather permitting but sometimes they are on in the week. Just google (carboot sales in) and add your country or town :) some should pop up
For a heads up, that fan you liked is available at Screwfix for £30. I have one for the gaming room and in hot weather its invaluable.. it is noisy for the rest of the household at night but I cannot hear it with headphones on. :)

Great pick ups. With reference to the charity shop worker nabbing the decent stuff I used to think that was OK but it isn't - they should be working there for the good of the charity (especially if they are paid) and not taking the decent stuff.

Apparently she only works there one afternoon/3 hours a week (so basically just goes in to sift through the good items and sort a few things out for the charity). Appreciate that is an unusual/extreme example but just shows some charity shops are exploited by their workers... All the best with your collecting mate, you picked out some great PS1 games there.
You inspired me to go into my local charity shops today, not one game on the shelf, asked if they still get many in, man said no we send them to the same chain down the street now, looked in there.....nothing atall either. On Saturday day I traded in lego city under cover and also Lego marvel superhero’s on £20 voucher got on one Xbox one game called ride 2 and 3 og Xbox titles one was midway arcade treasures and one was goldeneye rouge agent and also halo 2 limited collectors edition for £6
All the Charity shops in my area don't do video games and toys because they're sticking them on auction on eBay. I offered to buy 50 PS3 games of my Local British Heart Foundation and they wanted £2 each...half these games were 75p at CEX. I'm done with them now...if I am in the high street I'll walk into one but I won't be taking days off work to go bargain hunting in my area... not worth it anymore

Charity shops are already mostly Ebay prices before I even started. They check Ebay first not RUclips to see what Kevin says XD if you want to see how much something is worth do you check a auctioning website or RUclips for live game hunt videos. I loved mine back in the day. They where 70 here which isnt so bad I guess. My onkyo surround setup does the job now :)

Yeah they are pretty cool. Croc was badly scratched but Kieran has a disc cleaner so can fix it. Spyro was missing a disc XD

I found the Shroud of Turin at jumble sale in West Bromwich last Tuesday, but there's no way I was paying 4 quid for it!
