I am so glad I came across this review between the 116 and the 106. I was going to buy the 116 but honestly …. I prefer the side with the bigger brush so I think that’s the one I’m going to go for ❤ So I really appreciate this review thank you x
I have 3 of them and they surely were a splurge. $81 for 3 brushes hurt when I can get 8-10 for $40. I do have the Angie’s concealer, and Nikki’s N14 & 16. They are just out of my price range even when they had them at the good morning America deal at 1/2 off. Thrilled for all who can afford them though and I’m happy with my Sonia Kashuk and alter ego brushes. There’s products for all of us. 🥰
I do love smaller brushes but my favourite foundation brush is the N17. I love Nikki’s concealer brush. I’m pretty hardcore for natural bristles but BK Beauty has amazing complexion brushes. I’m interested in the 116 and the 111.
Hey Amy! New and upgraded brushes are definitely the next big beauty buy I need to invest in. My Mac crease brush is so scratchy it’s literally become too painful to use 😢 I’ve been following Angie Hot n’ Flashy for a couple years so BK was already on my radar. I have rather small features and an overall smallish face so I think I might prefer the smaller versions. Thanks for giving us a demo of these new brushes and comparing them to their larger counterparts. Very helpful! 💖
I just bought my first BK Beauty brush! I was shocked when I saw they're carried on Amazon. So awesome! I had an Amazon gift card, so I was finally able to grab one 😊
I would love to know what brushes you would recommend for those of us who aren’t necessarily beginners in makeup but also aren’t professionals. I purchased some Rephr brushes recently but feel like the quality could have been better or there is a small learning curve with how malleable their brushes are. But BK brushes are too expensive for me right now
I haven't made the jump to these brushes. I've seen them reviewed a lot, but I bought the entire Singe brush line. My wallet cant take another splurge right now! 😅
Personally I feel like their face brushes are where they really stand out. I enjoy the eye brushes but the face are just the best of the best in my collection 🙌🏻
Thanks for the review! I was wondering: is the new dual sided concealer brush a bit denser/firmer than the Nikki LaRose one? I found the Nikki LaRose a bit too flimsy for my personal way of applying foundation (I have a heavier hand), and I realised that, if it were a bit less bendy, it would work wonderfully for me. This new one gives me some hope, but I couldn’t really tell from your application how that detail compares (or if they’re both the same density/firmness).
@ hah! I got to know it because I stumbled upon Nikkie’s videos and she has always used it for foundation. It is a multi tasker, though, so it’s meant for whatever (creams on one side, powders on the other). Thanks for clearing that up… I’m a bit more interested in this new one.
