Fusion dance? Requires both users to be equal in power. Vegeta in ssj3 far eclipses gohan at the time, especially this was GT gohan who lost his ultimate form and had only his ssj and ssj2 transformations. Potara earrings either also would not have helped IF they don't have the item in the first place. If you think gotenks would have beaten super 17, then you are so wrong. Gotenks power largely relies on both goten and trunks power, which has not increased in any bit during the timeskip between GT and Z. Both have stopped training. Only gohan kept up with his training a bit, as was stated in GT perfect files and vegeta, who in his character never stopped training. Gotenks would have been as strong as he was in Z, and Goku even stated that their fusion would have been weaker than omega shenron and would not have been enough during the shadow dragons arc. ssj4 goku was stronger than gotenks at the time. Don't make up what if fusions if their resulting power is still weaker than their opponent. There was nothing they could have done. All they were doing was delaying the inevitable
John Zhou not fusing isn’t better than fusing?? If you can get stronger and possibly help out longer by fusing why not do it. Also you can do the fusion dance when they’re not equal in PLs the stronger person has to reduce their power to match the weaker one. Why did Goten and Trunks fuse against Beerus even though they knew they probably couldn’t win? Because it’s their strongest technique to help with the situation. Also I clearly was not tearing down the video, I don’t know where you got that from at all.
@@UITYGER goten and trunks couldn't detect god ki. Also, they fused because partly due to the time that they were allowed to. Beerus wasn't actively stopping them. Fusion dance does require both users to be at equal power. Goku stated this back in Z when he was teaching both goten and trunks the dance. He told trunks to lower his power a bit because his was slightly higher than goten, even in ssj.

The only reason goku lost was because he lost most of his power when he became a kid if he was the adult goku frieza and cell would've gotten their ass whooped
Actually Goku’s power level wasn’t that affected when he became a kid. Some of his abilities were limited though like the instant transmission, for some reason in GT he couldn’t spam it as much as usual.
Actually considering that with 4 months of training Frieza going from his arc to how strong he is in resurrection F With Frieza training for years there is no Goku that would stand a chance only omen ui Goku (manga) and cell is stronger than Frieza and we don’t even know if he has a fifth form as well

thats the fusion dance. Fusion dance requires both users to be at equal power. Potara does not require both to be at equal power.
