The camera itself is fairly compact, of good quality finish for the price and it is possible to place it directly on a piece of furniture or to fix it on a wall or one wishes with the support wall / ceiling provided. It is not waterproof, so its use is provided only indoors.
The protective shell is made of rather thick plastic and good quality ..

It connects to the network via Wifi.
The installation in my home (for the software part) was done in a few minutes without any concern, it is well thought out.
On the smartphone, I download the Yi Home app for Android directly to the Google Play Store (the application is also existing for iOS)
The application is in French, and very complete (it is necessary to register with Yi either by email address or with his Facebook account).
For the first use:
1 / Open the Yi Home application
2 / Make the top right
3 / Choose the model of the corresponding camera
4 / Wait for 20 seconds, a beep sounded.
5 / Choose the WiFi connection to which you want to connect and set the password.
6 / A QrCode appears on the screen of the phone, present it in front of the camera for it to be scanned
7 / Press "next" and wait one to two minutes "as the camera is paired with the smartphone.
8 / The camera is now configured and accessed via the application on the phone.
At the next launches of the application, all settings are retained and the image appears as soon as the application is launched.
The application for smartphone or tablet works correctly under Android
The camera controls are easy to access.
It is also possible to set it to receive alerts directly on the smartphone in case of motion detection, it is also to set the camera so that it only works at certain times of day or motion detection works well too)
The dome camera can also serve as a Babyphone (on the same principle as the video babyphones, the screen will be that of the smartphone)
Finally, it is possible, via a micro SD (not supplied), to record directly from the camera.

Bonjour es que il faut mettre le mot de passe de la box wifi ou le mot de passe de l'inscription

Alors, pour ouvrir l'application, il faut mettre le mot de passe de l'inscription.
Pour connecter une nouvelle caméra dans l'application, il faut mettre le mot de passe Wifi de la box internet..

Puedes compartirla en la misma aplicacion, en la parte de previsualizacion de la camara en la esquina superior derecha existe un dibujo caracteristico de compartir, lo unico malo que solo visualizara la camara mas no le llegaran notificaciones, si deseas notificaciones puedes compartir tu mismo usuario y contraseña de la aplicacion en el celular de tu esposa.
