Like the snare and kick are equalized with a band pass I believe and the hi hats have a high pass filter on them. Also the volume of something(probably melody, baseline and hi-hat) in the track is automated using a sidechain which gives it a certain rythm and nuance. Also the distortion is on point. I guess the channels are roughly set up like this:
- distortion
- convolution reverb
- limiter
- some kind of modulator (probably ring modulator)
- equalizer
Or the main channel has the distortion and convolution reverb.
Try cowbell cult and see if that changes your mind. Its ok if it doesnt doe
