don't forget that JKS's success wasn't only achieved by himself successfully replacing 2 players, but the most important thing was that FaZe started to play around JKS, like they tried to use as much potential as they could, because obviously there wasn't much team chemistry and he had only like 1 week to prepare, as it was mentioned in this video. Karrigan spoke about this in one of many interviews
fun fact: before joining c9, tarik was a stand-in for space soldiers of all teams. he didn't have much success but it's funny lmao the turkish CS scene has had a suprising amount of stand-ins turned good players, with imoRR standing in for xantares in the ex-space soldiers roster after xantares left for BIG, and Wicadia standing in for xfl0ud after he got benched
@@benjaminheering7236and he was basically the only choice for astralis to replace karrigan and to keep their major spot like, the most important transfer in the history of astralis wasn’t even made by a choice, it was a necessity this fact always blows my mind, the guy that was brought in because of roster rules made them the best team of all time
I'm being a bit biased here but can we just talk about how karrigan is able to utilize stand-ins so goddamn well? The anount of stand-ins FaZe had and they atill manage to win big events
Great concept, thanks for adding to the CS community. It does play like a video essay however, it would benefit from some better story-telling to make us feel more involved. theScore, although sometimes over the top, does this well. Great job
Hope I’m not too late, but I also think that Cromen deserves an honorable mention at minimum, back in 2018 with FaZe he was able to win Belo Horizonte.
Cromen had to retire shortly after the FaZe run as far as I'm aware due to an eye issue where he was going blind in one eye. There's a much longer story for him though because he thought he would eventually be offered a full time contract which never came. In addition to that he thought if not FaZe surely another top team would have seen the performance he had and signed him which also never came. So before he had to retire he played on a tier 2 team iirc.
Nice first video, some criticism: you faded some interviews slowly down volume wise, just hard cut it there. It's kinda wierd to focus on someone and he slowly fades out. Voiceover is good, too, but sometimes it sounds like you have no pop-filter. Keep it up, will watch again if you drop another. :-]
fantastic video, I have subscribed, keep grinding my friend, your editing is fantastic and the script you wrote was wonderful. Thanks for the video, and I am also so happy JKS was able to showcase his renegades talent after disaster with col
i remember the way JKS played for FaZe Clan in Katowice 2022, it was so weird to see a player who wasn't known for being a crazy good rifler, but he showed everyone wrong and almost carried FaZe Clan to the trophy in Katowice
@@bruceturnbull4219, he wasn't really known. Maybe in Australia, or if you've been a fan of Renegades. But he went under most peoples radar before he was a stand-in for FaZe Clan in Katowice! Also, say what you want but he played really really well in Katowice 2022, and stepped up a lot for FaZe to win the tournament, so in some way he helped carry them!

Twistzz revived JKS's career
True
Let's not forget Spunj lobbying for lil Justin
Twists give jks a chance and jks didn’t throw that chance
lol revived? jks was 15th of hltv's 20 in 2019 and 19th in hltv's 20 in 2020

And important since gla1ve would go on to join that roster and create the best team of all time

In general very nice, but the audio balancing is a little off. Music is a bit much. But very well made overall
I like your choice of music.

Love ur vids. Thank you means a lot

this video was great, honestly was confused when I saw you only had 6 subscribers you deserve so much more
Yea im glad RUclips recommend this video with less than 1k views
Thank you for the comment :))
He has low energy compared to popular youtubers. The content is fire.
those background songs did not have to slap that hard. good stuff bro
Holy crap this video is also a banger. Bro you got real talent.
Thank u so much for checking out the 1st vid. I’m really glad u enjoyed it :)
Absolute banger and gave me some nostalgia calling back to events that many wouldn't think of to be super significant like CS summit.
really nice to see smaller RUclipsrs in the CS community doing great, informative, yet fun videos like yours. Keep it up!!
I remember that Cromen Faze clan run. He was electric. Was really sad and surprised to see he didn't get more offers from tier 1.
my man the content does the video itself but your chill commentary combined with the music choice and the editing added sooo much to it. such a vibe
Xzit standing in for faze at iem sidney 2018 was also great.
!

thank you for the comment and the suggestion ! will def try to work on a better script for next video
I hope this vid blows up even more
Wonderful video! I know very little about CS and the competitive scene, but your video was still great to watch! Cant wait to see more of your stuff!
Nice video man, keep up the good work, add oil !!!
I was too distracted by the DnB music you were playing in the background lmfao
Only a great IGL can utilize stand-ins to their fullest and karrigan fulfills that.
the video is beautiful, the music, your mic, its just never gets boring, i hope you will become popular bc you deserve it with that quality
Thank u, ur words mean a lot I really appreciate it. Thank u for checking out the other video also :)
Banger
nice background music and overall great watch
great video man! really enjoyed it and looking forward to more content from you :)
Thank u guys for 1.5k views first vid !Now I gotta work on another one haha
G STUUUUUUUUU
Where Yekindar for Liquid?
At the start he also was a standin wasn’t he?
This was very well done man, youre next up because this production was top tier
I can't wait for my content, this is dope!
Great video! just came up on my recommendation and I subscribed :)
Also, Twistzz has an eye for talent for spotting JKS like that. As a G2 fan, I am very grateful!
Love to see a cs video with jungle in the back!!
Hope I’m not too late, but I also think that Cromen deserves an honorable mention at minimum, back in 2018 with FaZe he was able to win Belo Horizonte.
amazing video man, subscribed, you're gonna be great. Maybe get better at transitions and you're good g. Goodluck!!!
The crazy part about cromen is that he got so many offers after, but wanted to stay home.. Now he is inactive.
This was super well made. Keep the content coming!
thank you:)

Hunter been on G2 for so long lmao
You missed iconic bit in navi which then he created navi era
I was gonna comment why Maikalele wasn't on the thumbnail as he's the most infamous stand-in, but then he's the first person you talk about 🤭
sooo haven't seen the video but where is centryz?

Yeah im subbed
Peppzor standin ace on Fnatic.
JKS is a legend among legends
s1mple wasn't a standin for liquid :p, he was a signed player but didn't like living in NA due to being away from his family
Did we come back? Of course not
Don't forget that jks said "I don't want to be the reason that FaZe gets eliminated" and went on to win it
I expected Summit 1G stand-in
Snax is a beast
I think Gambit has won a major with all 5 players as stand-ins
i’m afraid we will not see a major win with a stand-in, the roster lock for majors are too strict for teams to have anyone but a coach to stand in
thank u for watching the whole thing :)
Jks said he didn’t want to be the reason they didn’t win the event
I always thought s1mple was signed with Liquid not a stand-in.
you should have way more subs???
Where's Summit1G and Moe
