    @exit4161 Год назад +17

    don't forget that JKS's success wasn't only achieved by himself successfully replacing 2 players, but the most important thing was that FaZe started to play around JKS, like they tried to use as much potential as they could, because obviously there wasn't much team chemistry and he had only like 1 week to prepare, as it was mentioned in this video. Karrigan spoke about this in one of many interviews

  • @ThinkAboutVic
    @ThinkAboutVic Год назад +2

    fun fact: before joining c9, tarik was a stand-in for space soldiers of all teams. he didn't have much success but it's funny lmao
    the turkish CS scene has had a suprising amount of stand-ins turned good players, with imoRR standing in for xantares in the ex-space soldiers roster after xantares left for BIG, and Wicadia standing in for xfl0ud after he got benched

    • @benjaminheering7236
      @benjaminheering7236 Год назад +26

      And important since gla1ve would go on to join that roster and create the best team of all time

    • @jakeezetci
      @jakeezetci Год назад

      @@benjaminheering7236and he was basically the only choice for astralis to replace karrigan and to keep their major spot
      like, the most important transfer in the history of astralis wasn’t even made by a choice, it was a necessity
      this fact always blows my mind, the guy that was brought in because of roster rules made them the best team of all time

  • @RoscOwO
    @RoscOwO Год назад

    Cromen had to retire shortly after the FaZe run as far as I'm aware due to an eye issue where he was going blind in one eye. There's a much longer story for him though because he thought he would eventually be offered a full time contract which never came. In addition to that he thought if not FaZe surely another top team would have seen the performance he had and signed him which also never came. So before he had to retire he played on a tier 2 team iirc.

    Nice first video, some criticism: you faded some interviews slowly down volume wise, just hard cut it there. It's kinda wierd to focus on someone and he slowly fades out. Voiceover is good, too, but sometimes it sounds like you have no pop-filter. Keep it up, will watch again if you drop another. :-]

      @@bruceturnbull4219, he wasn't really known. Maybe in Australia, or if you've been a fan of Renegades. But he went under most peoples radar before he was a stand-in for FaZe Clan in Katowice!
      Also, say what you want but he played really really well in Katowice 2022, and stepped up a lot for FaZe to win the tournament, so in some way he helped carry them!
