  • Here's the video of the differential removal:
    • 350Z Diff Removal + Al...
    In this video we replace the OEM bushings with solid differential bushings from Z1 Motorsports. I use the removal tool from Z1 to get the old bushing out of the subframe as well as the install tool from Z1 to get the new solid bushing installed. These made the job much easier. The rear end definitely feels more solid after this install. Thanks for watching and please Like and Subscribe.

    Have you had any transmission issues using this solid Diff mount. I have a 370z heavily moded and im on my 2nd trans but this time im going to put in a Poly diff mount. I'm just curious if you have experience this also. Although I LOVE how the solid diff mount puts down instant torque, I feel it puts a lot of stress on tranny. But anyways Thank you for making this video for us Z/G enthusiast.

    Do you have to grease the polyurethane subframe and differential bushings before install?

    • @kamalakeel
      @kamalakeel  3 месяца назад

      I did not use any grease, these mounts were solid but I believe with the polyurethane ones, unless there’s some kind of instructions to do something like that I wouldn’t use any grease.

      Do you have a distinct whine coming from the rear as you increase speed. I was thinking solid subframe and differential bushings from SPL will I get this whine. ruclips.net/video/cOSiVcOsEjU/видео.html The time frame where I hear it start is at 15 seconds in and starts at 30mph. Will I have to deal with this?

    What’s the difference between the solid and the urethane from Z1

    • @kamalakeel
      @kamalakeel  Год назад +1

      The solid ones are going to make more noise but offer a little bit better performance. With no movement from the diff it gives you better throttle response. I think they’re both good options though. It all depends if you mind if there’s drivetrain noise in the cabin.

      I have solid and they don’t make any noise they’re a bitch to put in if you don’t have the install tool that’s why I went with poly on my other Z

      @@58103alex thanks for the info, a lot of my Z is gutted so I can’t accurately say what the in cab noise is like since it’s already noisy haha.
