In the New Testament of the Bible, there are 18 years of Jesus' life unaccounted for. There has been much speculation on where he was during this time but new evidence presented in this film suggests that not only did he go to India to learn from the Yogic Masters of the time, but he also went back to India after the crucifixion and lived there until he was approximately 100 years old.

Through 20 years of self inquiry it is nice to see that the direction in which I have been shown has not been in vain.
In my quest for my own Spiritual life the principle obstacle in my way is my own conformity to receive doctrine. Transcend that. Wow, what a trip it has been. I am very grateful.

I pursued this path of inquiry for some time as well. I suspect it's a product of my southern baptist upbringing. I read the Nicolas Notovich book and did a lot of background. It pointed me to Tibetan Buddhism which pointed me to the upanishads which reminded me of M. Somerset Maughm's book and I eventually became a Buddhist monk (sannyasin) myself, then a Hindu student and teacher in the lineage of Sri Nisargadatta (via Sailor Bob Adamson), and now a loose taoist fueled only by my desire to piece it altogether and finally develop the self-narrative of all truth. jagat mithya II viveka II satyam bhaja kalpitam kuru adharmam tyaja II atmaneva atmana tustah II aham Brahmasmi

Frank, thank you for your films.
    A general , a perhaps rhetorical question:
Why does one need or is it even possible, to "kill the ego"?
Is it not needed to operate here on earth?
Does it not suffice to dis-identify with ego and stop following it whims and just stop the constant "self-thought-stream" (see: Gary Weber, Ugrading your Mental operating system, on youtube)?
Why would one need to "kill the ego" and as such, remove the ability to have a human experience?
What's the point of re-incarnating in the first place, if one only wants to go back, by killing the ego completely and re-uniting with oneness?
Wasn't it oneness (or perhaps a higher self, soul) that decided to re-incarnate in the first place?
To me, the "killing the ego" concept falls short in basic logic...
    YMMV.

Hi Frank, massive applause and a thousand standing ovations for sharing your devotion to the truth - the psychic penitentiaries you refer to are what I call the multi-layered, multi-faceted, multi-dimensional prison of lies and lunacy that holds the public captive - mind, body and soul - a few minutes into your documentary and already several errors compel me to write:
Jesus did not live thousands of years ago ... the timeline lies that the public is programmed and indoctrinated to believe in are some of the most difficult to realize ... if you want the true timeline for the life of Jesus you will find it documented in hundreds of independent sources from England to Palestine and Turkey to India, Kashmir, Tibet and Nepal ... The true timeline for the life of Jesus, the true timeline for our human history and the true timeline for our Earth's history is not hard to find ... it simply requires a passion for truth.

Hey Frank, thank you for this very interesting documentation! I grew up christian and would probably still consider myself this but i've been searching answers to some questions since some months now and found so many interesting things that are "unorthodox" and very much heretic and that is okay! What worth does an idea have if you are not allowed to think about it for yourself?
What i learned in this film is all very much new to me and i will make sure to learn more about it and read gnostic texts and see for myself, but if the information you put into this film is true then i think it all makes a lot of sense.. there simply seems to be more evidence for this theory than for the "orthodox" one!
When you explained the verses from Thomas i sometimes thought "hmm i'm not sure, i don't really understand how you'd get that conclusion.." but when i thought about it afterwards i remembered that this was exactly what you told at one point: christian theologians will not understand these sayings as they come from a very different viewpoint. And since i have nearly no knowledge about hinduistic teachings i'm not expected to understand it.. now obviously the correct way is not to just believe all this but to actually research these teachings and see if i can make those same conclusions.
One thing i wanted to add (even though it was only a small topic in the film): you talked about the abrahamic religions (wrongly) being thought as the first monotheistic religions and according to historians you're right in this to an even bigger extent than you mentioned in the film. The jewish religion was actually not monotheistic in the beginning. The Tora has been passed down oraly for thousands of years and has been edited multiple times and still there are signs of the historic roots of the religion. For example in the word El-Shadai for God. El was the main god of a pantheon of gods that was worshipped at that time where the jewish tribes lived. El had multiple children, for example Baal (plays a role as a "false god" in the bible) was the god of war and Yahweh (God identifies himself as Yahweh to Moses in the bible) was another son of El. According to historians, the jewish faith began polytheistic, then went on to only worship Yahweh but still acknowledge the existence of the pantheon as a whole and it was only after the exile in babylon (that had some strong monotheistic influence) that they began to insist that Yahweh is the only god that even exists. Since christianity and islam derived from the later, monotheistic, version of judaism these two religions were monotheistic since the beginning but its just interesting that monotheism isnt actually THAT old in abrahamic religions.

Thank you for your kind words. As Socrates said, "knowledge is only gained through experience" and so if you want to get to the truth, learn to meditate. This is what Jesus taught. Frank, I'm thinking my biggest obstacle in this is going to be deprogramming my brain after 50+ years of different religious beliefs, lol. As a firm believer in the "Teachings of Jesus Christ", there's one issue I have not been able to figure out & was hoping you might be able to shed some light? I read & study "The Red Letters" by Timothy J. Beals and I've run across a contradiction I'm having a problem with.
On page 52 it reads; "For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind". (John 9:39) Yet on page 64 it reads; "If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world". (John 12:46)
In the same writings of John, we have Jesus stating judgment is why He came, then saying He does not judge? So in John alone we have this contradiction of what they claim Jesus said? My only answer I can come up with here is either John misunderstood or this is a typo of some kind. Can you enlighten me on your take on this?
Thanks again and Namaste my friend.

Frank Huguenard hey frank, really good documentary! I've been interested in this subject a while now, but have no-one to discuss it with. i am reading the secret gospels now and have read the 114 sayings probably as many times ha, and i find most pleasure in interpreting them, i like to write about my own thoughts, and although i left school with no gcse's, once a piece is finished, i look back and I'm amazed as to where these words come from, because they are so far away from who i am! and more importantly, most of the time i have no idea of how significant these words are until i go back and interpret them. and so i purposely try not to read many things so that i am sure that my words and feelings are as true to myself as possible, for that is the whole idea right? to conquer thy self? and it blew me away just the other day when i came across a verse that basically explained a piece that i had written, or even my words further explained what i had read, and this just solidifies my belief that we are all drinking from the well of truth the jesus prepared. i have never meditated but am keen to learn the tequniques now. if you are interested you can look at my work on tumblr, just search leon-thus spoke my heart. there are love poems and other subjects but you will know which ones i wish for you to read. anyway thank you for a great documentary.

This sells an expanded version of the Jesus narrative. Although this probably adds to truth, it seems to affirm the importance of a correct narrative more than advocating the skill of just letting yourself know truth when you hear it. Another all-or-nothing packaged narrative does not benefit the world. Know thyself, heal thyself.

id like to hear your opinion on aliester crowley aswel if possible? I've read the book of the law and i find no evil in it!!! just beautiful words that awaken the mind to new systems of thought. and on a documentary i seen, the narrator uses the phrase.... i am the crow that pecks at the eye of jesus! in order to make this sound evil. but if one is searching for truth, then what better eye to peck at?? the eye of knowledge! is it just me or do other people believe that he is also i bringer of light?? after all he is the great beast 666- lucifer! and also about frederic neitchze, he said... god is dead, we have killed him! atheist use him as a figure head for their beliefs, but again i only see the same truth that jesus spoke! is neitchze's philosophy not to create the perfect human?? does jesus not say put on the perfect human? clothe thyself in incorruptibility? sounds very similar to me. and i believe he was bang on when he said god is dead!! we have killed him!!! he also said his work would fall into the hands of the wrong people. very rightly prophesied. just curious to hear what others think. thank you

well done with the interpretations of Thomas - as Jesus said, ‘ funny that the learned hypocrites don’t get it but the ignorant masses are delighted ‘ ( to greatly paraphrase ).
Both Mark and John write that Jesus always taught in ‘parables’ - it seems u had to be ‘in the know’, like understanding the ‘lingo/expressions’, like Rock n Roll or any ‘youth culture’ that has a ’slang’ or ’new way of talkin’.
The Gospel of John is quite different and last accepted into the canon due to it’s high regard among the gnostic Valentinians. Yes, there are problems with the accepted Gospels ….and very strange that there is little known from the other disciples ( including all those who were fed the loaves and fishes …..
yet I find the ’stories’ of Jesus in India very unlikely.
