This is exactly the type of information I’ve been looking for. Really excellent!
Unfortunately it seems beaver fur dubbing is not available in Canada. I’m going to start experimenting with dying muskrat I suppose. I worry that blending coloured fibres into the muskrat will draw water in by capillary action.

Hi Brent, I have not tried dying the aquatic animal furs. They are so dense. and getting dye into those fibers would be tough. Plus I think you'd have to bleach first. I would love to see otter in colors... but only see bleach otter available.
