I feel everybody pokes fun at the boys for how they treat the post coverage like they don't know what happened. I don't get it... They're AWESOME at it. Amongst all the things that make Jomez fantastic, the commentary is always top notch. Keep up the good work gentlemen!
I think they should work on expressing the moment without pretending it's a surprise. Been turned off of post-produced coverage ever since the fake sounding commentary on the holy shot. They could just be quiet for a second and let the crowd noise play out.

First off, a HUGE congrats to Simon for his 4th win and this exceptional year for him! Second off, HUGE shoutout to Cory Ellis because having heard his story of alcoholism and anger issues in the past and the changes hes made within, it shows tremendously because not once in what would be considered a disaster of a start of the final round, did he show one ounce of negative emotion or anger at his outcomes, that's hard to do. Is this the first time we have a winner who wasn't featured at all on the coverage? I can't think of another time that happened. Congrats to Simon. What a comeback after the first round
Gatekeeper Media had Simon's final round on chase card. But apart from that... maybe an early 2020 event (WACO?) where Chris Dickerson won on chase card (not sure if that was on film or not). They mentioned Idlewild 2020 at the end there. So over 2 years, at least.
Yeah and the total fumbling of the numbers too - Jerm kept saying Paul was putting for -15 on 18 but he was -13 putting for -14 (which he finished at). And then the first casual mention of Simon at -15 while the lead card was on 14. They definitely struggled to capture the other drama that was happening on the course that made the day so exciting.
Thanks for completing the story with the Simon win at the end! Gatekeeper coverage left me hanging. You have the best commentary and production - like watching on network TV.

Congrats to Simon, obviously! What a legendary comeback! Corey ... what a drama, going for the win and losing it. But here it is: He risked it all and lost his nerve on the approach that seemed so much easier than the drive. But I feel that Linus deserves more respect and love! Tied for the lead at 18, a European to challenge the dominant Americans (Simon is 100% an American since he said he preferred American beer ... no German, not even those from the north, would ever say that!).
