Thanks man good review, I wish if you've mentioned security as it's a title that doesn't have a stable meaning, I think knowing how to secure a Django app in different scenarios and which types could be applied in Django would be considered a good area of focus.
Good video. Another important tips for who like to find a job as a Django developer: **make sure you have enough job opportunities** in your country, even working remotely. I have all those listed and bonus skills, and now trying to find a job as a web developer, however there really few Django developer jobs here, I even got an offer which requires me to learn PHP laravel.
Good luck I taught my self for 5 years but the job market has gotten very picky and a lot of competition I moved on to another trade but good luck to all of you
I'm in IT since almost 20 years and I had never seen the market so crazy as it is since 1 year or so. The job ads have become more and more nonsense asking for specialized web dev in a java stack that also have to know python data science specific things or how to manage a RDBMS... I try to answer those positions to challenge the recruiters as I don't see why a solution would be designed at the same time on a python stack AND a java stack... In a point of view of a CTO that is a nonsense and a lost of time, money and energy to maintain the resources of a project on anything and everything technologically speaking.
@@williamg5309 i'm working in France and Spain. But with the crisis there is so much people searching IT positions by now that the market is biased. And truly some offers could be considered a full IT department compared to the same thing 5 years ago for example.
What do you think of a tutorial to show how to deploy a django app using the app platform + digital ocean managed database + digital ocean spaces, the app could also be configured with celery or any other async / scheduled task management system. I would also like to know what do you think of the app platform compare to caprover
Hi Mohab, you mentioned Database Design is the most important thing. Where can I learn about Database Design? About a year ago I learned the basics of making queries with a MySQL database. But what I knew was very basic and the software was on an older computer which I no longer have. What type of database does Django use? Is it a MySQL database where you need to create your own database, tables, and rows? Or is the architecture much different from a MySQL or even a PostGRE database? Lastly, I already have 1 year of JavaScript, so I am functional, and I have a strong foundation. Is it possible to learn Django while learning Python? Thanks, Mohab, for your excellent video!
Hello 👋🏼 how do I use an api in my django admin ? I mean... I just make a view and I want to use that in the django admin ? Is that possible or I have to make another template ?
