Loved that you could actually see the team strategy slowly shift to “everyone shit on the soldier immediately” it was beautiful. That ball was on a mission and I respect them lmao
yeah typically when I find a botter, I make it my mission to make them either want to leave the match or rethink their life. either on my favorite, Junkrat - or on Sombra
The ball was playing stealthy too compared to the cheaters POV. Never saw the ball go up, over, and down

I was the soldier on the red team and we all reported him after we played this match. A few days later I received an email from blizzard saying action had been taken on his account. f2p game so it is what it is but still nice to see :)

the fact that they barely won with a hacker speaks volumes of the skill ocean between the teams.
yesterday i caught a cheater in GM1 and everyone in the lobby was like lol get gud bro. it was a holywood game and i just forgot to skip the killcam on enemy widow and then saw she did two 180 snap from our healer on right to our ball to the left back to back and i immediately called it out . Game ended and i was in the menu and after 2 min the message pops up that your previous game is canceled. Felt glorious and also sad, since this is GM1 and you'd expect to not see many hackers at this rank.
The cheaters have 1 of 2 reactions when they get accused: “git gud” or “Who? Me? 😳” and both are equally annoying lol

@@Mattriix Oh yeah, 100% I play in Masters/GM lobbies and you can always immediately tell when people are cheating because their game sense is dog shit lol
My theory is that cheaters like to use Visor so the play of the game ends up looking less suspicious to their team once the match ends
I mean, it’d be more suspicious imo if somebody held ult the entire game
What annoys me even more than the cheating is the fact this person has likely been cheating for a while, just based on the old 2019 Winter Wonderland skin for Soldier.
Or they bought the account, but even so.
Could be an old player who recently started cheating, if I was hard stuck silver since 2019 I would too

In some ways, i feel like the red team supports kinda dropped the ball here. They stepped out in the open and ulted in front of a guy they knew was cheating. Ball did his best.
And Mei he/she tried to block he’s vision as much as possible
They were playin' in a 4-stack tbf, if they were playing with someone inexperienced or new that would explain it.
That or solo player wasn't in comms (or 4man was in a group chat) & got caught out.

It makes sense that the enemy team just responded with “lol” seeing how it’s Silver 2. It’s just sad how teams aren’t even willing to try & make it a Draw. People are so desperate for that win grab. If you get carried by cheaters (which we all know aren’t good players) then you, yourself aren’t a good player & will be trashed on if you manage to climb.
There's a good chance enemy was also pregroup since game does try to match group v group. If that's the case, either they're all in on it or they're unaware and just unwilling to believe their friend is a cheater.

They were grouped. Probably the two support and the soldier.
Cheaters are so common in gold and silver that people stop giving a fuck.
If I remember correctly, visor actually removes damage drop off, which they wouldn't know but it will be powerful on first point Junker Town and other longer range maps
They let visor headshot but added damage falloff to it in the same patch. Still had faster reloads
They won the moral victory by absolutely shitting on the cheater and making sure he had a bad time the whole way.
Crazy how many eliminations get away even with cheats because they just hold down the left click into a crowd and have to reload right before cleaning up
There have been an ungodly amount of cheaters this season. Very obvious rage hacking on the kill cams. They always play soldier and when you call them out they say something like they’re GM on another account.
What do you expect when the game alrwady had a cheater problem before becoming f2p now its a massive problem. (Source was part of it before they added the flag bullshit n i didnt wanna redownload windows. To dual boot) Another reason to stop plahing this shit.
What confuses me is how apart from a few moments where it’s completely locked on, the cheats tracking is actually WORSE than real tracking, like it’s consistently behind

Some people just can't learn because they're too fucking stubbornly stupid. My kid had this friend who would constantly 1v6 (this is back in OW1) and she would tell him off all the time. Then one day she asked me to play with them and I was like whatever. And holy shit I yelled at this guy so many times for being so stupid but he had an excuse as to why he did it every time. I told my kid and her friend I would never play with him again and I don't know why they played with him either. Dear god my kid also used to play LoL with him. Now they don't talk anymore because he's an idiot, not game related but it should've been LOL

I had a game on QP last night with a doomfist who kept saying that if you played Ana, he would target you, because he wants the character deleted. My team, 5 people who don't know each other, all gained up and just shit on him the entire match, it was glorious, just like that team shitting on the soldier
Shit, I might have run into this guy. Had a doom that wouldn't leave me alone as Ana. Like from the beginning. Didn't care anyone else was around. Or maybe there is more than one of them lol

It's interesting how most cheaters play Widow or Soldier. I'd like to propose: A Torb cheater. Headshots across map with turrets to lower suspicion.

I think it doesn't work as well with projectiles. Could be wrong but the 1 hanzo cheater I saw was so bad cause he didnt lead anything but would headshot his own mother up close.
the fact that so many cheaters are still in the metal ranks goes to show that just good mechanics alone means almost nothing if you have terrible gamesense and positioning

During one of our games on Shambali I discovered a Soldier that was using wall hacks. I saw it as I was trolling their backline as Wrecking Ball. He was aiming at my team through a wall and unloaded a whole clip lol didn't even try to shoot me even though I was destroying his widow right next to him.
im honestly really surprised i dont see a lot of sombra's using the aimbot. it would be really broken
They’re not very smart. They’ll literally use hitscan hacks on projectile characters.

Damn makes me wonder. Season 3 early on has a doom on enemy team who was like 5-9 and left the game then came back 2 minutes later and all of a sudden was destroying our team finished like 38-15. Although not sure what hacking doom looks like

I some times miss a few pellets and miss some damage every doom does

As a plat player, you really start to believe that you suck, but then you see a guy who is so terrible that they can't even play well when cheating and all of a sudden you're perfectly content being painfully average.

The funny thing is although his team got a win, the cheater themselves lost SR/had the match counted as a loss because they disconnected near the start 😁 Sucks ass when that happens to you due to disconnect and even if you come back the game has already punished you, but in this case it's just sweet sweet justice.

i made the switch from console to pc at the beginning of ow2. I was bronze 5 for a while due to my pc mechanical skill being non existent. There wouldve been some great roasts in those games. managed to climb tank and support to plat2 and dps to gold5. Took a break during season3 and just placed supp into D3 kiriko/brig/lucio.
it really makes me wonder how people are still bronze when hacks are covering the mechanical side for them

Game sense and positioning basically needed if you wanna climb higher lol. Like playing tanks, if all your defensive abilities are on cooldowns and there's a cover, use that cover. It helps your support top you up faster. You don't know how many times using cover as a tank saves my ass lol.
The secret buff to visor for a cheater is that visor won't target the enemies that the cheats track on to through the walls
