1 year ago I was 102 kgs and I started walking every morning, but after the first day when I woke up on the second day I had a lot of pain in my shin area , but I just pushed my self after a week the pain was still there and started jogging the pain got worse , at the end of my run there was a cricket club one guy suggested me that before you start your run walk on your heels (which is called tach in Marathi) for a short distance and it really worked for me the pain in the shins just started to go down and in few days it was gone , so you can try this
I developed shin splints when I started long distance running (with poor technique in 2007. It ultimately lead to a stress fracture on my left shin. After I stopped running, the pain went away but the shape of my left tibia bone has changed permanently. 8 years later I snapped my left knee ACL ligament while playing football. I believe the change in my bone structure back in 2007 played a role in this. Now in 2024, I am a fit 41 year old man. I do cycling on a stationary bike as my primary cardio exercise. The only running in my routine is sprint training once a week. Even though I have fixed my running technique, I cannot run for more than 5-7 minutes without experiencing extreme pain in my shins. It is very frustrating because I love to run.
I Just realised that I have been facing this issue for a week and still today I went for a run... And after I just completed 100 m it felt like my shin muscles broke totally just came back home and start searching for it and I don't think so I can find any other informative video rather than this video thank you so much for explaining each and everything so well 🙏🏼❤️

I did it for a week and my shin pain was gone but today i mistakenly jumped from 6 feet and now again pain(mild) has started.
Just to confirm we have to walk on heel or toes for shorter distance?
