    Janine love from INDIA...
and as an indian i just want to tell you that on major festivals like HOLI,DIWALI whole india celebrate...
because of that it gets crowded..
and specially Vrindavan gets more crowded as more people wants to play HOLI over there as it was the place where Lord Krishna and Radhajii used to play HOLI...
    Stay Safe Enjoyyy
    RADHE RADHE

Lord Krishna was the playful one. He teased Radha and the Gopikas (the girls of the village), danced with them at Vrindavan. Everyone loved Krishna. Holi was the time when Radha and Krishna celebrated the season with colours and great festivities. And even there are rumor that he comes in nidhivan in the night in vrindavan and plays flute with radha.
    Hare Krishna 🙏

Love from 🇮🇳 INDIA. Well you have made a safe holi. Best rule you have learnt...not to make eye contact with people...not to let them have many selfies...just chill at your own...but must have a local guide with you...loving your videos. Hope to see you in india again.

India is no more the best place to celebrate Holi, Ramzan or Diwali.
We both know how many women get molested during these festivals.
The Japanese woman getting harassed by a group of men during Holi caught the media attention. There are many other non-reported cases like that.
Our old cultural 'good' India is no more sadly!

If you are in India specifically Northern states women should avoid crowded areas esp during religious festivals there has been lots of cases of harassment and assaults on foreign tourists. Im also Indian i speak Hindi fluent but still as a precaution i don't attend or avoid certain areas.

Beside the river, they were performing a Kirtan. Relatively unchanged for many hundreds of years, and mostly signifying lyrics of devotion and love, they were a staple for the villages of India who were relatively free from external pressures, as Basham wrote in his seminal work "The wonder that was India", Indians took life at face value. This was due to the kindness of the Nature, at least in the older times, where there was less need to migrate or battle the forces of Nature.
Here is one typical kirtan song, roughly translated by me:
At dawn in the middle of the courtyard
    Gaur Chand is dancing
    Wake up Sachi Mata
Gaur comes, the giver of love
Spreading the word of Krishna from house to house.
In his golden feet, the anklets ring in ecstacy.
    And the boy was saying:
I am feeling very good, because our country's Holi is famous and people from faraway places come to celebrate it. But no one can celebrate (due to the insane crowds😁)! Very good people come here, and we've to say "Radhey Radhey"!

Cramped Atmosphere There are sure to be a lot of pickpockets, and it is inappropriate for men to press their bodies against women when they are crowded together.

You should enquire/study more before participating in such festivals.
The festivals like Holi, Ramzan and Diwali has become a hub for drunkards, molesters and hooligans to harass and assault woman these days. You were lucky that nothing happened that day.
Hope you won't repeat the same mistake again.
Foreigners who're thinking that Holi is a religious festival with colours, good people, songs and dance should believe that the good old days are no more there in India.
Now a days, people find festivals as a shade to harass and assault women. Please don't come to India again unless the government guarantees safety for women.
    Hope you understand the situation!

Janine and Susan, please don't visit India again until our government guaratee safety to women and children.
If our women don't have any protection here, how can we guarantee that you will have protection here. India looks beautiful outside but not inside anymore. The incident happened to you two in Delhi is what every women experinece everyday!
So please, for your safety, please don't come here until some changes are made!
    Take care.
