- What do your tattoos mean? My star was just because I thought it looked good. My skull was my reward for winning the marathon world championships in 2010, my triangle on my hand reminds me to keep moving forward and make progress, and my turtle/Pura Vida tattoo on my leg is a reminder of my amazing time in Costa Rica :)
- How do you make money? - RUclips/Freelance film/photo & my clothing brand
- Do you ship Work In Progress clothing world wide? - We ship to most countries.
- What editing program do you use? - Premier Pro CC on Mac
- Did you go to university? - Nope
- Will you be going to the Olympics? - Hopefully if they introduce Marathon Kayaking into the Olympic program!
- Can you tell me where you get your t-shirts printed? - The answer is in one of my vlogs...
- What steady cam do you use? - A really cheap one from ebay.
- Why aren't you training for kayaking anymore? - I see new opportunities everyday, I'm just grabbing them as they appear and keep working hard, right now that's RUclips & Film. I'm happy I made the change!
- How long do your vlogs take to edit? - They vary massively, sometimes 1 hour sometimes 6+

Its not. Thats snow on top blowing. Its a lake the water isnt flowing under the ice

The snow wafting over the ice looks so amazing!
Nicole was so cute all bundled up in the sled. Those dogs were so cute! I hated to see them go back in their crates. They looked like they wanted to run some more. How do you know the ice is thick enough to walk and play on? I would be terrified it would crack.
By the way that steak was obscene. Enough for the whole table to share.
The ice is safe to go on because it's still lake (not moving river water) and temps have been below freezing since November. Ice is probably a good 12 inches thick. The dogs do want to run more, they could run forever they have so much energy.
The experts said the ice was thick enough but we also checked just to be sure! It was pretty freaky being on there though :) the dogs could run all day but they are touring dogs not racing dogs, I think they had already done a lap of the course when we arrived!

Generally, the dogs do more than a few tours each day. Friends of mine do sleddog tours on Mount Hotham and Mount Buller in Victoria and whilst the pups do just want to go hell for leather, they get a pretty great workout. That's even with the pups being swapped in and out between some of the tours just in case they wear themselves out. Best sport in the world (especially the dryland version!!).
Dog sledding is freaking fun! The dogs are the cutest creatures on earth. So full of energy and so friendly!

It would've been awesome if you had had a GoPro dog harness! You could use it on Alfie if you're ever home, and it would've looked so epic strapped to some random sled dog - although maybe a bit jumpy...

I don't mean to be THAT guy, but the dogs didn't exactly sound as though they enjoy doing that - I hope I am wrong.
They have a whiney howl of a bark. They are crazy high energy dogs and were probably sad the day was over so soon. They can run for hours. People take them out to the backroads and let them out to run and they drive the vehicle along side them just to get them enough exercise, walking them isn't enough.
the barking and whining is because they wanted to run. They are built for this sport and if the owners treat them right, they love what they do.

I went to that dog sledding place when I was in Canada and also went to the maple leaf for dinner and had the best salmon I have ever had in my life
