Season 5 Episode 9, "Chain reaction of mental anguish": Jack (Alec Baldwin) recommends that Liz (Tina Fey) start seeing a therapist when she worries that Carol is getting bored with their relationship. In an attempt to take Jack’s advice, Liz begins talking to Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) about her problems. Jack also finds himself caught up in one of Tracy’s (Tracy Morgan) schemes when Tracy tries to convince him to invest in his son’s theme restaurant in Times Square. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Paul (guest star Will Forte) celebrate their six month anniversary.

The writing on this show was truly excellent because it didn’t call attention to its jokes. The fact that there are always random couches for Liz to lay down on, Kenneth abruptly developing DID, the casual mention of Kenneth eating a presumably human witch…just brilliant.

They made a weirdly large number of phrenology jokes. They were funny, but I was always curious who it was on the writing staff who kept suggesting them...

I love that Jack values Kenneth so much that he immediately tries to help him when he finds out Liz has put her mental burden on him
It's probably also that Jack knows Liz's hangups are too much for even a regular person, let alone Kenneth. He may be an angel/eldritch abomination but even he has his limits
"Harold was a pig" gets me every time
The greatest like delivery in acting history: “I ate him, sir! I ate my father pig!”
Just transcendant delivery.
"Please let Harold be human" is one of the funniest goddamn lines in TV history
This is one of the best scenes in the show. I still say “Crush It Donaghey! Crush it with your mind vice!!”

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross had a similar story to Kenneth's. The famous Swiss American psychiatrist, who wrote the best-seller "On Death and Dying," and who was the world expert on grief had a pet rabbit when she was a girl. Her father forced her to take the rabbit to the butchers and to bring back the rabbit meat. Her mom cooked the rabbit that evening, and the future world - famous doctor had to sit and watch her family consume her love object. She buried the emotional trauma and didn't deal with it until she had been leading workshops for years, helping people to deal with their own unresolved issues.

"I'm not done sir, it gets worse" would be SUCH a lazy line in any other show, except it's 30 Rock, and its Kenneth Ellen Parcell. Such an amazing cast, but defo...I was gonna name a few a d then I realized I was gonna name them all. Fan-fucking-tastic cast.
