Yeah, that's why they are lighter. If I had my own pair, I would probably do a good orange dye job and then seal them

Any recommendations for restoring the color? I cannot figure out the paint mixture at all to color match

I would say, prolly just mix the colors to the orange you can be content with, and spray or paint the whole shoe
